Vacation Bible School will conclude with a program presented by the children who attended. “Rainforest Falls,” the theme this year. Children discovered the nature of God and how knowing Him is a lifelong adventure. They explored the meaning of being rooted in a relationship with God, their creator. The VBS program will be at 9:00 a.m. Coffee fellowship and Sunday School will follow at 10:15 a.m. West Independence Church is a Global Methodist Church and is located east of Findlay at 22876 US 224, Fostoria, OH 44830. Day 5 has come to an end 😢, but it was filled with wonderful memories and God's blessings.

Thanks to the generous donations that were given this week, approximately $500 was raised to help support missionaries in Colombia as they share the Gospel with people in rural communities.

This video shows Pastor Ben humbly taking a pie to the face after the girls raised more money than the boys! At the last moment, Dr. Flutterby also pied our VBS Director, Tina Moyer, so the boys could have a little fun as well. 🙂

We praise God for the more than 30 children who attended VBS this week. Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, donated, and prayed. God is good!

“Following Jesus” is the sermon that will be presented Sunday at West Independence Church by the Rev. Ben Wallick. Our scripture focus will be Luke 5:27-32. Junior Church will be held during worship, and a nursery is available for infants and toddlers. Worship begins at 9:00 AM and is also live-streamed on YouTube. Immediately following worship is coffee fellowship. At 10:15 AM Sunday School classes are available for all ages and offer a variety of topics. Vacation Bible School, “Rainforest Falls,” will be held Monday through Friday from 5:30-7:30 PM.
