You mean the world to your little ones and you are the one to help them find eternal heavenly purpose as they live in the world and not of it. What purpose you have. What love you give. What truth you offer. The fruit of your joy is beautiful. Motherhood is beautiful.

James 1:5-6
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”

Nothing should be done in our own strength but all through God’s strength and with His wisdom. He knows the right response, the right attitude, the right instruction, the right actions, for every situation we face as a mother. We don’t have all the answers- but He does!

We should pray regularly for God to help us be filled with the spirit. God desires that close relationship with us and for that sensitivity to His voice. This is not just for our own sakes, but also for the sakes of our children and others. The spirit filled life is supposed to be the normal for Christians and we should be living it daily. And if we are, God can work in wondrous ways!

Matthew 5:13-16 “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Colossians 1:10-12a
10 “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
12 Giving thanks unto the Father…”

“There comes a time - many times, actually - in the lives of our children where we have to put the basket in the water. We have to let go and trust the plan of the Father. The world is a scary place - a place where we fear our children could drown. But we must remember that we have to let go so that God can draw them from the waters for His great purpose. He has called us to be their parents, but they were His first.

My friend, whatever water you may be getting ready to put your basket into - remember that you have to put them in the water for God to draw them out and place them into His perfect plan. Though you might not be physically present with your child as much during the next phase of life, you can always petition the heart of the Father on their behalf.”
