St. Wendelin Parish This is the official St. Wendelin Catholic Parish page. We, at St. Wendelin, dedicate ourselves to m St. Wendelin Parish is located in Fostoria, Ohio.

We seek to Love God, Love Others, and Make Disciples. We follow the command of our Lord Jesus Christ to "Go into the whole world and baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." We, as a parish of the Diocese of Toledo, seek to foster a community environment where people of all ages can learn and grow in their faith so they contribute to the building up of the kingdom of God in Fostoria, the diocese, our state, and our world.

TOMORROW NIGHT!

On Thursday, October 22nd, on the Solemnity of St. Wendelin, we process with Jesus - Body, Blood, Soul & Divinity - in the Eucharist through the streets of Fostoria in a Eucharistic Procession. This is a powerful way to pray that every soul in our community would come to know Jesus in the Eucharist through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Mass for our Parish Feast Day will begin at 6pm. Please come join in the procession at the end of Mass (around 6:45pm) and join your prayers to those of our whole parish community.

From October 27th - November 17th, the topic at Faith & Fellowship Tuesdays will be a new series: Eternal Rest - The Art of Dying Well.

Dinner begins at 6pm each night, followed by the presentation and casual conversation.

Do you believe in the power of prayer?

Please plan to spend time with Jesus, truly present Body, Blood, Soul & Divinity in the Blessed Sacrament, beginning THIS Tuesday, October 20th at 6pm and continuing until 6pm on Thursday, October 22nd, begging Him for peace, for revival & renewal in our parish community, for more holy vocations in our parish & diocese, and for every soul in our parish boundaries to be drawn to His Heart in the Eucharist.

Our parish Feast Day Mass for the Solemnity of St. Wendelin will begin at 6pm on Thursday, October 22nd, and a Eucharistic Procession through the streets of Fostoria will occur at the conclusion of Mass at approximately 6:45pm.

🌍 We Celebrate 100 Years of World Mission Sunday! 🌍

This year marks the 100th anniversary of World Mission Sunday, established by Pope Pius XI in 1926. We celebrate a century of prayer, generosity, and missionary work, and renew our commitment to sharing the Gospel throughout the world.

Pope Leo XIV has called on us to “help me help missionaries everywhere.” World Mission Sunday allows us to answer that call by supporting 1,130 missionary dioceses and territories where the Church is young, poor, persecuted, or just beginning to share the Gospel.

Our gifts help sustain missionaries and support the work of evangelization, pastoral care, education, and building up the Church in communities around the world.

Parishioners may use the World Mission Sunday envelopes provided or make a donation online through the Pontifical Mission Societies:
