High Street United Methodist Church - Fostoria, OH United Methodist Church in Fostoria, OH High Street United Methodist Church is located in Fostoria, Ohio at the corner of Union and High St.

Our current pastor, Jim Sharrett, is a very knowledgeable, energetic and enthusiastic preacher. He has served his country proudly as a Chaplain in the Navy reaching a rank of Captain. He came out of retirement to be Pastor at High St. and Amsden UMC's and has been with us since June 2015. Please take the time to join us on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. You will be glad you did! We are also Handicap Accessible. Just use the elevator entrance.

High St. UMC is permanently closed. Please refer to the Nazarene Church, Fostoria Church of God or the Fostoria Pantry for your food needs. We enjoyed serving you while we had the chance. Take care and God bless 🙏

For those of you who may not be aware High St. UMC will be closing for good at the end of April due to increasing utilities and insurance and fewer people coming and supporting the church. Our last Service will take place on April 19th at 10a. The Food Pantry will continue to be open hopefully until the end of this month.
We thank everyone who has supported our ministries and blessed our community through these ministries. We will certainly miss everyone and being here to help those in need.

Bishop Jung and the West Ohio Cabinet is pleased to announce Pastor Leslie Mahaney will be our new pastor beginning July 1, 2025. Pastor Leslie is currently serving in the East Ohio Conference at Cadiz Scott Memorial and Scio churches. Please keep her, Pastor Duane, and all the churches involved in this time of transition in your prayers.
