We look forward to the Baptism/Chrismation (for Jenny Rising) and Reception of a Convert (Clyde Rising) on Sunday, July 12, 9:00am. The 3rd and 6th Hours will commence following.
Great Vespers will be offered each Saturday evening on the weekend that the Divine Liturgy is offered, and there will be time for counsel/confessions at the church in the afternoon before Vespers (1:00-5:00pm), and also time for confessions following the Vespers service. Use the link to make an appointment prior to the service. Confessions after the service do not need an appointment. Please be sure to use the scheduler on the parish website linked above.
Fr. David appointed Chris Van Valkenberg to be the lay delegate from St. Matthew Mission Station to the 2026 Diocese of the South Annual Assembly (St. Augustine, FL) held in just a few weeks. His family is accompanying and will attend the youth/children program and give us all a report so that vacations might be planned with this even in mind each July. Every third year the DOS Assembly is at the same venue as the Orthodox Church in America “All-American Council” that also has a fabulous family and youth program. The 2028 All American Council is to be held in Dallas, TX.
