Northside Christian Church

Northside Christian Church Come and See . . . is an invitation to not only worship with us, but more importantly, to hear the words of God and SEE Jesus Christ and the hope offered!

Come and See...

For the past few years there has been a running theme in the congregation-- "Come and See . . ." It's a statement that comes from John 4 when a troubled woman encountered Jesus at a well. She walked away excited about who Jesus was and what He could do. "Come and See . . ." is our invitation to not only come worship with us, but more importantly, to hear the words of God and SEE J

esus Christ and the hope that He offers. We believe when you "come and see" Northside, you will discover a people pursuing Jesus Christ . . .
. . through Biblical teaching and preaching from the Bible, that is both informative and practical;
. . through the reading of Scripture and the weekly observance of Communion;
. . through the offering of prayer and praise from our gifted worship team;
. . and through genuine fellowship among a diverse gathering of people.

What if the most important room in a church isn’t the sanctuary? When asked the secret behind his ministry, Charles Spurgeon pointed not to the pulpit, but to a room filled with people praying—the “powerhouse of the church.” The early church understood that truth too. In Acts 4, their first response to pressure was prayer. Join us Sunday for When the Church Prays and discover the power that fuels the church.

Do your prayers sometimes sound like a customer service request? “Lord, fix this. Help that. Open this door.”

Prayer is more than bringing requests to God. It’s an invitation into a relationship with our Heavenly Father. Join us this Sunday as we discover why prayer is one of God’s greatest invitations to walk closely with Him.
