Northside Christian Church Come and See . . . is an invitation to not only worship with us, but more importantly, to hear the words of God and SEE Jesus Christ and the hope offered!

Come and See...

For the past few years there has been a running theme in the congregation-- "Come and See . . ." It's a statement that comes from John 4 when a troubled woman encountered Jesus at a well. She walked away excited about who Jesus was and what He could do. "Come and See . . ." is our invitation to not only come worship with us, but more importantly, to hear the words of God and SEE Jesus Christ and the hope that He offers. We believe when you "come and see" Northside, you will discover a people pursuing Jesus Christ . . .
. . through Biblical teaching and preaching from the Bible, that is both informative and practical;
. . through the reading of Scripture and the weekly observance of Communion;
. . through the offering of prayer and praise from our gifted worship team;
. . and through genuine fellowship among a diverse gathering of people.

Nobody likes being bossed around. In fact, when someone starts telling us what to do, we might get a little huffy and think, “Who does he think he is?” But what happens when the person making demands of us is Jesus? This Sunday, as we continue our series “Who Is This Man?”, we'll watch Jesus demonstrate an astonishing kind of authority in Mark 1:16-39. The people recognized His authority. Even the demons recognized His authority. But do we?

You’ve heard His name. You know the stories. But has Jesus become so familiar that we’ve forgotten just how extraordinary He really is?
This Sunday we begin "Who Is This Man?", a journey through Mark’s Gospel that invites us to look at Jesus again. We’ll begin where Mark begins: with a voice in the wilderness announcing that "Someone is Coming."
You may have known about Jesus your whole life. Come discover Him again.
