Another Level Christian Ministries is hitting the streets for outreach late this afternoon. We will be meeting at the church/office off 820/Rosedale at 5:30pm to hit the streets at 6pm, pass out water, sack lunches, and share the gospel. Psa 2:1 "Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing"?

Whereas Psalm 1 helps us to identify Individuals represented among those who claim to be children of God, that being the Righteous, The Ungodly, The Sinner and The Scornful. Psalm 2, on the other hand moves us outside of the church, into the camp to the Non-Believer, also described as The Heathen. RAGE, is a strong Feeling of Anger; Violent and Uncontrolled Anger (Insanity). As we will see as we move through the course of this study, the real issue behind the Heathen or the Non-Believer's RAGE, is one of AUTHORITY. There is an INHERENT DISABILITY within the HEART of man that causes him to desire ABSOLUTE CONTROL. When opposition to this disability arises, and poses a threat to his selfish ambitions, all hell breaks loose! THIS DISABILITY IS CALLED SIN!!! SIN'S DIABOLICAL NATURE AND CHARACTER DWELLS WITHIN THE HEART OF EVERY CHILD THAT PASSES THROUGH A MOTHERS WOMB!! We have seen on countless occasions throughout history the rise and fall of individuals, who driven by a selfish desire for absolute authority has brought about much Terror and Senseless Bloodshed. The Egyptian Pharaoh who had every male child put to death as it passed through the womb, for fear of losing his Authority (Exodus 1). King Herod, (king of the Jews at the time of Jesus' Birth) upon hearing of the fulfillment of the prophecy concerning the promised Messiah being born, made a decree that every child from the age of two years and under in Bethlehem was to be put to death in an attempt to secure his throne (Matthew 2). Adolf Hi**er of Germany, Pol Pot of Cambodia, Joseph Stalin of the Soviet Union, Idi Amin of Uganda and the list goes on; serve as examples of Heathen Leaders who desired Absolute Authority. These may seem to be rather extreme examples, but they do serve as a reality check! When A Country, A Nation, A People, or an Individual attempt to remove God and His Holy Standards from our lives the end result is INSANITY, and ABSOLUTE CHAOS!! Notice that these outward manifestations of rage are the result of a depraved mind fueled by an undisciplined thought life (Romans 1:28 & Pro.3:23). The People IMAGINE a Vain Thing. We as a Nation have attempted to protect the RIGHTS of the PEOPLE, at the EXPENSE of DISHONORING the HOLY STANDARDS OF GOD. We The People of the United States of America have IMAGINED A VAIN THING!!! Have we not REMOVED GOD from EVERY MAJOR AREA OF OUR NATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE? We have told God that WE HATE HIM in our Religious Systems, in our Marriage Institutions, in our Educational System, and In our Government. Is there really any question why our Country is in SERIOUS TROUBLE!!! Rom 1:22 Identifies the MINDSET OF THE HEATHEN, of Whom, sad to say; AMERICA HAS BECOME APART OF, "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools". I beseech you my brothers and my sisters, to turn your hearts back to the true and living God! It is only through Him and His sovereign Grace that HOPE can be RESTORED to us as INDIVIDUALS and to our NATION as a WHOLE.

Psa 1:6 "For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish".

Growing up mulatto (Black father & White mother) had its advantages and disadvantages as I'm sure many of you can imagine. One of my biggest issues, and probably most confusing challenges was in regards to Spirituality. My fathers side of the family were Christian and very religious, whereas my mother's side of the family never really openly confessed anything, in front of me that is. BARE WITH ME, I PROMISE I WILL TIE THIS TO THE SCRIPTURE. My biological father, though spiritual, has been absent the majority of my life. Nevertheless, I must admit that my fathers faith has played a major role in the LOVE I HAVE FOR JESUS!! My grandfather, (I Love You Papa), who became the Rock in my life was still calling black folk Nigger's until I confronted him about it at the age of 12. I never heard him use that term again to identify black people! I Led him to CHRIST in his mid 60's before he crossed over into Eternity! HALLELUJAH!! Raised by my mothers side of the family was wonderful!! The color of my skin was never an issue! I was LOVED BEYOND MEASURE!!! HOWEVER, the Big Problem that my mothers side of the family had, was not with the color of a people's skin; it was with THE HYPOCRISY of CHRISTIANS!! I believe that much of my family to this day have not truly surrendered their lives to Christ for this same reason. BTW, I ALSO HATED CHRISTIANS AS A YOUNG MAN!!My family has had the opportunity to see me go from being a Street Thug who stole cars, Sold and used Drugs, Carried Guns, children by multiple women, spent much time in Jail, to becoming a Man that has been TRANSFORMED BY THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST and Pastoring a body of Christ Followers (Rom.1:16 & 2 Corinthians 5:17)!! Many have seen the LIVE FEED I posted on Facebook asking the Nation to forgive us as Christians and more specifically us as Pastors because of a lack Authenticity in presenting the Gospel, which is the LOVE OF GOD IN MOTION, in practical ways to Promote Unity Within the Community. AMERICA, we cannot rely on a BROKEN GOVERNMENT to produce change within our communities! I encourage you to vote your conscience as the elections approach, but do not be deceived, uninformed, or just too lazy to think that grassroots/local reform (CHANGE) is going to take place on a NATIONAL LEVEL. IT MUST BEGIN WITH YOU AND I!! The ROOT of the Problem isn't Skin!! The True Problem has been and always will be a SIN Problem (Satan In NATURE, or Spiritual In Nature). This verse tells us the THE LORD KNOWS the way of The Righteous, but the way of the ungodly, the morally corrupt shall perish! Though we have Righteous People in this Nation, We have as a Nation Forsaken God!! We are asking For GOD WHO IS THE STANDARD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS to Bless our Filthy, God Forsaken, UNRIGHTEOUS WAYS. If we do not bow our HEARTS to the True and Living GOD, and REPENT; There will be Trouble on Americas Home Front that we have Never Seen!! To my family and those who are SICK OF THE HYPOCRISY OF CHRISTIANS in this country, let me Encourage you today; THE LORD KNOWS THOSE WHO BELONG TO HIM! There ARE NO FLAWS IN JESUS!! YOU CAN TRUST HIM!! HE broke the POWER OF SIN on THE CROSS and is STILL TRANSFORMING the HEARTS of MEN and WOMEN from the INSIDE, OUT. MY HEARTS DESIRE AND PRAYER is that you become THE BLESSED MAN referred to in Psalm 1! Become the Change that you want to See
