Good morning and welcome to Masterful Monday!

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men. Colossians 3:23, NKJV

It’s not always the big things that are keeping us from God’s best; it’s the small things. If we aren’t showing respect and honoring our spouse by doing a small thing that’s important to them, that small thing will keep you from your greatness. You can’t be harsh, contentious, and hard to get along with and reach your potential. Sometimes it involves things we don’t feel like doing, something that doesn’t seem fair. At work, you’re not getting credit or someone is not treating you right. Why should you be kind to them, keep a good attitude, and go the extra mile? God is saying, “Will you do it as unto Me? Will you keep your mouth closed for Me? Will you be kind to that undeserving person for Me? Will you be your best at work for Me?” Do it as unto God. He’s the One who matters. Promotion doesn’t come from people; it comes from Him. When you do the right thing when it’s hard, you’re passing the test. You’re going to go to levels that you’ve never imagined.

Prayer For Today: “Father, thank You for calling me to be a person of excellence in everything I do, to go the second mile and always be my best. I want being my best to flow out of my heart of love for You. I believe that as I give it my all, I will see Your goodness and favor in my life in new ways. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good morning and welcome to Safe Saturday!

SCRIPTURE: “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has?” Job 1:10, NIV

In the Scripture, Job went through a time of severe testing of his faith. When God had said to Satan that there was “none like Job in all the land,” Satan answered, “Yes, but I can’t touch him. You’ve put a hedge around his life. If You will remove the hedge and let me get to him, he’ll curse You.” Notice that the enemy can’t just do whatever he wants. He has to ask God for permission. For his part, Job fought the good fight and in the end, not only did he not curse God, but he came out with double.

When you go through tough times, you have a bad break, you’re facing a sickness, don’t get discouraged. Remember, there are boundaries around your life put in place by the most powerful force in the universe. Keep moving forward, and you’ll not only come out as Job did, but God will bring you out better off than you were before.

PRAYER FOR TODAY: “Father, thank You for Your protection over my life. Thank You for watching over me and controlling my times of testing. I believe there is a hedge about me andas I move forward,You will bring me out better off than I was before. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”
Matthew 5:8, NIV

The word “pure” in the original Greek is where we get our word “catharsis” from, which means “cleansing, purifying.” After surgery, a catheter is a tube used to drain the toxins and infection out of the body. Today’s Scripture is saying if you’re going to see God, you have to keep the impurities out. When an offense comes, when insults and disrespect come, you have to make sure the toxins are released and flow out. You can’t stop them from coming, but you can stop the toxins from staying.

The problem comes when we hold on to hurts, keep thinking about what someone said or how we were treated. Now our heart is not pure. There’s unforgiveness, resentment, anger, or bitterness. That’s why we can’t see God. Is your vision limited because you’re not dealing with offenses properly? Is the favor on your life, the blessing, the creativity, the potential, not showing up like it should because you’re holding on to hurts? The good news is, you will see things clear up if you start forgiving quickly, releasing the toxins, and making sure your heart stays pure.

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that I can have a pure heart today because of the blood of Jesus. Thank You that I can release any hurts, any anger, any guilt and bitterness and flush them out of my life. Help me to forgive whatever needs forgiving and let go of the past. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good morning and welcome to Testimony Thursday!

Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.”
Isaiah 60:1, NKJV

Today’s Scripture doesn’t say the glory of the Lord is going to rise upon you sometime in the future, then you’re going to be blessed, favored, and anointed. No, the glory of God is on you right now. Your light has come. But if you’re going to see it, you have to arise. You won’t shine as you should if you stay where you are in your faith and play it safe all the time. David was destined to defeat Goliath, but he had to step out of the shepherds’ fields and into the unknown, believe for what looked impossible, and stand in faith when all the voices were telling him he could never make it happen. If he hadn’t known that the glory of God was on him to be a mighty warrior, he would have missed his destiny.

If you arise, you will shine. His favor will cause doors to open and chains to break. The anointing on your life will bring down giants and defy the odds. When you take steps of faith, you’ll discover the glory of God that’s on you.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that Your light has come to me and Your glory is upon me. Help me to arise and be bold, to dare to believe, to dare to take some new steps of faith into the unknown. Thank You that You are causing me to shine and fix my hope in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Good morning and welcome to Thankful Tuesday!

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
John 10:10, ESV

When you face unfair difficulties, the enemy will not just try to hinder your destiny, he’ll try to steal your identity. He’ll try to deceive you into letting your environment—how people treat you, disappointments, delays—dictate who you are. If they cause you to see yourself as limited, not valuable, unworthy, that will keep you from your purpose. He’s not after your possessions; he’s after your identity. If he can control how you see yourself, he’ll limit your future. When you’re in a negative environment, don’t let the environment get in you. You’re not defined by your environment.

Sometimes God leads us into difficulties, allowing bad breaks or people to do us wrong. You know that God has a great dream for your life, but how you see yourself will determine whether you stay in the difficulty or come out better. Don’t take on a victim mentality and let it change your identity. God is going to use it to move you into greater levels of your destiny. You are a victor, an overcomer, more than a conqueror. You can do all things through Christ.

Good morning and welcome to Saintly Sunday!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins. Ephesians 2:1, NKJV

Jesus came to give us life! Think about that for a minute. You used to be dead in your sins and trespasses. You had no hope. You lived in fear. But once you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you weren’t dead in your sin anymore. You now have hope for the future. You are alive in Christ! God wants you to live life to the fullest today. It doesn’t matter how you may feel or what you are facing, start thanking God for giving you life. Even if He didn’t do another thing for us, giving us eternal life is more than enough reason to praise and thank Him every day. Thank Him for eyes to see and ears to hear. Thank Him for the air that you breathe. Thank Him for loving you and making you alive today!

PRAYER FOR TODAY: "Father, thank You for making me alive in Christ today. Thank You that I am new. Show me how to live every day to the fullest so that I can enjoy life the way You intended in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Good morning and welcome to Safety in Him Saturday!

When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown!" Isaiah 43:2, TLB

We all go through difficult times in life. Maybe a loved one let you down. Maybe you didn’t get the job or promotion you wanted. Maybe you’re having a challenge in your health. Sometimes it can feel like a raging river of emotion inside, but God promises that He is with you. He won’t let you down. He still calms the storms that rage around you!
What did the disciples do when they were in a great storm in Mark 4? They called on Jesus! They turned to Him when they didn’t know what to do, and He brought peace to their circumstances. Today, if you are going through circumstances you don’t understand, know that it’s no surprise to God. He’s already prepared a way of escape for you. Call on Jesus, today! He’s closer than the air you breath! He loves you with an everlasting love, and He promises that He is always with you!

PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for being with me in the storms of life. I choose to trust You even when I don’t understand. I choose to call on You knowing that You can bring peace to the storms in my life in Jesus' name. Amen.

Good morning and welcome to Faithful Friday!

Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:8, NLT

The Scripture says God will not promote gossips, faultfinders, or busybodies. It’s been said that every person carries a bucket of gasoline and a bucket of water. When you hear gossip, rumors, or juicy information about someone, you can either pour gasoline on it and cause the fire to spread or you can pour water on it and help put out the fire. Too many people use their gasoline. But even if it’s true and what they did was wrong, “love covers a person’s faults.”

Love doesn’t expose them, doesn’t tell five friends and put it on social media. The mercy you show others is the mercy that’s going to be shown to you. If you’re harsh, judgmental, and expose people’s failures, magnify their mistakes, that same judgment is going to come back to you. You may know things that are true and could make someone look bad, but that’s a test. Can God trust you to keep it to yourself and not damage their reputation? Or are you going to spread everything you know? Cover their fault and pass the test.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for loving me, forgiving me, and approving me just as I am. Help me to be like You and to do the same with others and seek the best for others. I ask You for the deep love that covers offenses and weaknesses so that I can honor You in everything I do. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
