y would be surprised to see what’s going on with the seasoned adults of Travis Avenue Baptist Church. Our parents, grandparents, and great grandparents have purchased a heritage with their faithful lives and examples through the years. They have received this heritage from the Lord and stand ready to pass along that heritage to the generations to follow. Psalm 71:18 is our theme, “Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.”

Our adults are active and energetic, serving in a multitude of ways. “You look back at how the Lord moves us to where we are,” Ben Bolin said. “I’ve always been a firm believer that you serve Him with everything you have in where you’re planted, instead of always looking for what’s next. And in every way, He has blessed that to next steps.”

Great article about our pastor.

The “Genius Bar” fellowship was a great time of building new friendships and finding help for our mature adults. The Travis Avenue Baptist Church college students were a goldmine of help. It was so good to spend time together and get very practical help.

Join us this Sunday, December 15th at 6:00 PM in the Sanctuary for an encouraging Christmas Concert.

Within the story of Christ’s birth, the word “BEHOLD” is wonderfully woven throughout, painting the picture of “Don’t Miss This,” for the birth of Christ is the centerpiece of the Bible.

The Sanctuary Choir, Kid’s Choir, and Orchestra will present “BEHOLD”. This will be a beautiful opportunity for the church family to behold all God has done for us, and spend time praising our Emmanuel.
