The good life isn’t found in hiding sin, it’s found in having it forgiven. Through Christ, our sins are lifted, covered, and no longer counted against us. Walk in the light. There is freedom there.

On Sunday we walked through Psalm 32 together and were reminded that the blessed life is not a sinless life—it’s a forgiven life. David wrote this psalm after his deepest failure, yet he shouts with joy about God’s mercy. He responds with joy because God doesn’t just pardon our sin, He lifts it, carries it, covers it, and doesn’t count it against us.

When we confess our sins specifically and authentically, we experience the cleansing power of Christ’s blood and the freedom of true fellowship with God and others.

We can rejoice like David because we have been forgiven and our sin has been paid for through Christ’s finished work on the cross.

On Sunday we explored Psalm 27, where David reminds us of a powerful truth: “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?”

David didn’t deny his fear or wish it away. Instead, he turned his gaze to God and remembered who He is—our light, our salvation, our stronghold. In the midst of uncertainty, David’s confidence wasn’t in his circumstances changing, but in God’s unchanging presence. His one desire was to dwell in the house of the Lord and gaze upon His beauty.

Here’s the invitation for us: notice and name how you’re feeling, bring it honestly before God, and actively wait for Him.

The Lord of hosts,

Psalm 24:10

On Sunday we explored Psalm 24 and were reminded of this beautiful truth: Jesus is the worthy King who descended to us so we could stand with confidence in God’s presence. God saved us not by our works, but by His mercy. He alone gives us a new identity, clean hands, and a pure heart through Christ’s finished work on the cross.

The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge.
Psalm 19:1-2

This weekend we explored Psalm 19, what C.S. Lewis called “the greatest poem in the Psalter and one of the greatest lyrics in the world.” From the vastness of creation to the very words of God in scripture, He is constantly speaking—declaring His presence and His love for us.

May the words of our mouths and the meditations of our hearts be pleasing to Him—our Rock and our Redeemer.

On Sunday we celebrated all of those who publicly declared their faith in Christ through baptism. It was such a gift to gather as a church family and worship our faithful God who is continuing to change lives in our body.

We’re already looking forward to gathering again this Sunday for ONE service at 10am. We can’t wait to see you there!

Come and celebrate what God has done and continues to do in our church family!

This Sunday is Celebration Sunday! We’ll all gather together for ONE outdoor service at 10:00 AM. Because of this, there will be no Kids Ministry this Sunday. Feel free to bring lawn chairs or blankets for your family, though we will have some chairs available as well!

We can’t wait for this special morning of worship and celebration together!

This Mother’s Day, we were encouraged by Psalm 23 and were reminded that the Lord is our shepherd. No matter how tired you are, how discouraged you feel, or how heavy your burdens have become—He restores your soul. Not through our own efforts, but through His presence with us. His goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life—every single one.

We look forward to seeing you again this Sunday as we celebrate the declaration of new life in Christ through baptism!

We kicked off our journey through the Psalms in Psalm 1, looking at what it means to truly flourish in the Lord. Like a tree planted by streams of water, the one who delights in God’s Word becomes steady, rooted, and a blessing to others — not by striving, but by abiding in Jesus.
