🇳🇿☪️ Five New Zealand Tourists Embrace Islam in Türkiye 🇹🇷

A heartwarming encounter in Tatlıcak village, Sivas, Türkiye, reportedly led five tourists from New Zealand to embrace Islam during their cycling journey. 🚴‍♂️🌙

The visitors were warmly welcomed by local residents and became curious about Islam. They spoke with the village imam, who explained the faith, its core beliefs, and its basic teachings.

According to local reports, the five tourists later recited the Shahada (declaration of faith) and embraced Islam. 🤲☝️

Please help us welcome Sister Sakyra to Islam. Her journey began yesterday when she ran into our WhyIslam team at the harbor giving dawah. She was doing the same with her Christian youth group. She told us, "I don't know why I stopped my preaching and started listening to theirs." Truly Allah was guiding her.

Our daee gifted her a Quran and contact information. She went home and began reading the Quran and couldn't put it down. Our daee reached out to her this morning to invite her to the ICNA-MAS Convention 2022.

Sister Sakyra is convinced she found the truth and she accepted at one of our last parallel sessions. Just a few hours ago she embraced Islam. She was immediately introduced with one of our co-founders Sister Nahela Morales who took her under her wing. We will share more of this story in upcoming posts in shaa Allah.

For now please keep Sister Sakyra in your duas as we ask Allah subhana wa'taala to accept everyone's efforts, ameen.

🇺🇸📖 American Jewish Ph.D. professor embraces Islam after years of searching for truth

Dr. James D. Frankel, an American professor of comparative religion who was raised in a Jewish family in New York, spent years studying different religious and philosophical traditions including Buddhism, the Bible and the Upanishads, in his search for answers to life’s deepest questions.

His journey eventually brought him back to a book a friend named Mansour had gifted him years earlier: the Qur’an. After reading it repeatedly, Frankel said he found the clarity and answers he had been searching for, ultimately leading him to embrace Islam.

From a Jewish upbringing, through years of academic study and spiritual exploration, to discovering Islam — his story is a powerful reminder that sometimes the search for truth takes us through many doors before Allah opens the one that leads home. 🤍

An American citizen who worked as a security guard at a mosque for years has reportedly converted to Islam.

According to publicly shared reports and videos, the time he spent in the mosque and with the Muslim community there became part of his search for faith. He eventually embraced Islam and declared his Shahadah.

Former Christian Julian Froseth Says Her Search Led Her to an Unexpected Discovery

Former Christian Julian Froseth says that whenever she shared videos about Islam or the Quran, she frequently received Arabic comments mocking a narration commonly referred to as “the breastfeeding of an adult.”

Curious about the claim, she says she searched the Quran for any mention of it but found no verse referring to it. She also stated that she did not find language in the Quran that she considered explicit or inappropriate to recite publicly before adults or children.

She then decided to examine her former faith, Christianity, by reading passages from the Bible. According to her account, she was surprised to find numerous verses containing references to breasts, virginity, nursing, and other intimate subjects. She shared several passages from books including Deuteronomy, Proverbs, Song of Solomon, Isaiah, Job, Ezekiel, Hosea, and Joel, encouraging readers to review the texts for themselves without commentary or interpretation.

Julian says that this comparison changed her perspective and reinforced her conviction that many criticisms directed at Islam are based on misconceptions or selective claims rather than a comprehensive reading of religious scriptures.
