Happy Birthday to Sister Gabriela Martinez!

From training lay ministers to founding convents in Mexico to serving as Regional Superior, Sister Gabriela has helped transformed communities through her service and love.

Still active today, she ministers to oblates across continents via Zoom. Her passion for justice and her gifts for teaching continue to bless us all.

Happy Birthday to Sister Patricia Ste. Marie!

Sister Patricia came to Fort Worth a several years ago from Wichita Falls, continuing the beautiful legacy of faithful service the Sisters have cultivated there for decades.
As one priest said of the Sisters in Wichita Falls: “In their quiet defiance to indifference, they have always called us to be faithful.” Sister Patricia embodies this spirit of steadfast perseverance and peaceful witness.

We're grateful for Sister Patricia and all she brings to our community! Happy Birthday!

On Saturday we gathered to honor Sisters whose faithful service spans decades:
✨ Sister Rita Claire - 80 years as a Sister of St. Mary of Namur!
✨ Sister Louise - 80 years as a Sister of St. Mary of Namur!
✨ Sister Charles Marie - 70 years as a Sister of St. Mary of Namur!
✨ Sister Ginny - 65 years as a Sister of St. Mary of Namur!

What a joy to celebrate prayer, song, community and heartfelt gratitude! The whole community came together to say thank you — for their faithfulness, their love, their witness and their beautiful lives.

Happy Feast of the Assumption!

Today we celebrate the Blessed Virgin Mary, who was taken up body and soul into heaven at the end of her earthly life. Mary's assumption reminds us that our earthly journey is not the end — that heaven awaits, and we are called to live with our eyes fixed on eternity.

Mary shows us what it means to trust God completely, to say yes to His will and to live with hope and faith. As we honor her today, we ask for her intercession and guidance in our own lives.
