This day is dedicated to reflecting on the life, sacrifice, and unwavering principles of Imam Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin and the many Black Muslim revolutionaries who stood for justice. ✊🏿📖

History of WD Muhammad at Islamic Unity Center

Assalamualaikum.
We are urgently appealing to the Ummah of North Texas for immediate assistance. We are tenants of a small local masjid in South Fort Worth and are facing an emergency situation. A broken water heater has caused damage to the flooring, and we are currently unable to afford the necessary repairs and replacement.

We must raise $1,500 by tomorrow to cover the repair and installation costs so the masjid can continue operating safely. We ask you, for the sake of Allah, to please consider contributing to this effort as sadaqah jariyah, helping to maintain one of the houses of Allah during this critical time.

[Surah At-Tawbah: 18]

The only ones who should tend God’s places of worship are those who believe in God and the Last Day, who keep up the prayer, who pay the prescribed alms, and who fear no one but God: such people may hope to be among the rightly guided."

IUC will be a vendor at the Black August Commemoration: Honoring Political Prisoners.

This event is to celebrate Black political leaders, prisoners, and revolutionaries! The event will include educational discussions, resources for community members with incarcerated loved ones, youth activities, an art workshop, and much more.

Come out to support not just our masjid but also to support Pan African Connection, an amazing bookstore, with a wide selection of books on culture, history and cuisine.

At the bottom of the flyer you will see a menu of the option we will have for sale at the event.
