The Simple Power of a Daily Walk 🌿

A short walk each day can do more for us than we often realize — body, mind, and spirit.

Here are a few benefits many people notice when they make walking a regular habit:

• Clears the mind and helps lower stress

• Naturally boosts mood and energy

• Improves sleep and focus

• Creates quiet space to pray, reflect, or just breathe

• Builds a healthy rhythm that supports recovery one step at a time

You don’t need long distances or perfect conditions. Even 15–20 minutes around the neighborhood, a local park, or a quiet path can help you feel more grounded and hopeful.

If you’re looking for a safe place to grow in recovery, you’re always welcome at Celebrate Recovery.

We meet Mondays at 7 p.m. (Northlake/Justin campus) and Tuesdays at 7 p.m. (North Fort Worth campus).

Learn more or find meeting details at fotpcr.com.

You’re not alone on this journey. One step at a time. 💙

🌿 August is here, and with it comes a beautiful invitation…

In the heat of late summer, God is still at work—quietly producing fruit in our recovery journeys.

Our newest blog is live:

“Harvesting the Fruits of Faithfulness in Your Recovery Journey”
This month we’re looking at how consistent surrender, community, and daily faithfulness begin to yield real fruit—greater peace, restored relationships, freedom from old patterns, and deeper hope in Christ.

If you’ve been showing up, even when it’s hard…
If you’ve been praying, even when you feel dry…
If you’ve been taking the next right step…
This post is for you.

🌱 New Blog Post is Live! 🌱
As we step into May here in Fort Worth, it's the perfect time to focus on Walking in Purpose and Momentum in Your Recovery Journey.

In this month's blog, we explore how God carries the good work He began in us to completion (Philippians 1:6), the power of daily faithfulness through the 12 Steps, the strength found in community, and practical ways to turn reflection into forward-moving action.

Recovery isn't about perfection—it's about consistent progress, one faithful step at a time. Whether you're just starting out or have been on this journey for years, this message is for you.

We just want to say thank you to everyone who attended Real Talk: Calming the Chaos on March 24, 2026! 💙

It was such a powerful night filled with practical tools, honest conversations, and encouragement around managing stress, anxiety, and social media use. We’re praying that God continues to guide each of you toward your next step in healing and peace.

If you weren’t able to take it all in—or want to revisit what you learned—we’ve got you covered:

🎥 Watch the full recording here:
https://youtu.be/68VCUzJoCUM

📄 Be sure to review the handout and resources that were shared. As you do, we encourage you to choose just ONE thing to focus on this week. Don’t overwhelm yourself—start small and be consistent.

One powerful takeaway was identifying your Stress Personality Type (from Sara Mellado’s presentation). Understanding how you respond to stress is a huge first step—not just for you, but for your family as well. This awareness can open the door to healthier conversations and stronger relationships.

🙏 Remember: You don’t have to do this alone.
If you’d like to connect with one of our Mental Health Advocates, send us a DM and we'll make the introduction. Our team is here to walk alongside you with care, support, and encouragement.

📅 Mark your calendars!
The next Real Talk is happening June 23rd, where we’ll hear about how depression can leave us feeling stuck—and how to begin moving forward.

We’re honored to be part of your journey. 💛
