Connect College Ministry

Connect College Ministry Engage Campus. Encourage Others. Encounter God.

Connect College Ministry is a ministry of the Southside Church of Christ, and our goal is to connect DFW-area college students to the church, provide a place where they can feel at-home while in school, and offer opportunities for them to grow spiritually through worship, prayer, study, and fellowship.

Over the course of this past school year, we saw over 50 students engaged with the Connect ministry, most of whom were part of Life Group Bible studies on campus, and we baptized 13 students this year, praise the Lord!

But most of the things we're celebrating can't be measured by mere numbers: gospel conversations, spiritual friendships, discipling connections, transformed lives. God is working in this generation!

Our mission is to help people find a place to BELONG, a God to BELIEVE, and a call to BECOME disciples of Christ in every area of life. If you would like to be part of reaching college students in Fort Worth with the gospel, we would love your support in prayer, and if possible, in funding as well.

To support us in prayer, text PRAYER TEAM to 833-573-6832

To support us financially, you can donate at giving.sscofc.org (be sure to choose College Ministry as the designated fund)

If you have questions or would like to learn more about the ministry, please reach out!

If the tomb isn’t empty, then Jesus was just another man who died, and Christianity is just another religion.

But the tomb is empty.

That means Jesus didn’t die for His own sins, He died for ours.

Sin leads to death - we brought the sin, but He took the death. And then He did what no one else could do: He defeated it.

That’s why we celebrate today. ✝️

So here’s the question:
What does the empty tomb mean to you?

If you believe it, live like death isn’t the end.
If you’re not sure, lean in and explore it.

If Jesus is still dead, none of this matters, but if Jesus did rise from the dead, it matters more than anything.

He’s risen… now what will you do with that?
