Arrived in Austin safe and sound, Friday..... now very cold weather.....And missing the warmer Mexico climate..... But to every thing there is a season. :-)

Our next adventure? This season in Mexico is at a close. We head back to Texas, to await His next assignment for us. The work in Mexico continues as God sends new ones in our place. He is SO faithful !
We deeply appreciate the prayer and financial support while in Mexico, we felt your love.

Discipleship classes at Senda de Vida continue to prove His love to the folks here seeking a deeper walk with Jesus. Thanks for all your continued prayers. We love what the Lord is doing in our brothers and sisters here in Mexico.

We're heading to Nuevo Laredo for leadership training with Partners in Harvest. Likely there will be time to stop at our favorite place for street tacos, Johnny's. Back to Reynosa on Saturday.

OHMAGOSH~~ What a weekend~ Birthday dinner w/my sweet sis & bro-in-law, Lovely Birthday messages and phone calls w/family & friends, Billy Bob's to watch my first born play guitar, banjo, drum & keyboard, then witness his proposal and engagement to one sweet young lady, Paige Thomas....( I get to be a M.I.L.!!),Family Pizza and game night with my nieces and nephew, sis, bro-in-law, and Keith, drive to Austin to see my Dad, and my #2 & #3 sons.....and in-between, a divine appt, complete with flat tire, Keith practicing his best Phillip impression with our Good Samaritan, and me a couple of hours of solid worship in the car w/Jesus and Holy Spirit whilst waiting..... AHMAZING!!! Come on Jesus....what do you have in store next? Bring it ~ :-D

In the last two months, we've been so busy that updates were back burner things. SORRY~
To sum up though, God has moved in such beautiful ways, we marvel that Keith & I get to be a part of this~
The church at the Basurero continues to bring in lost ones who learn of Jesus and then their hearts are forever changed by His love. Come on Jesus!! Can't wait to see what happens next.

Our 1st discipleship class finished it's first term and took the exams.....and everyone passed! That was last Thursday. On Sunday, Aug. 31, we had a celebration dinner, (I graded tests :-) ) and we just had fun! Lots of prayer for and from our much loved "family" in Mexico.
Keith and I are heading up to Texas for a short respite, then we will head back down to Reynosa and continue to love on folks, tell them of Jesus and His glorious love for them and watch as Poppa God changes lives!

God so loves the people of Mexico, He sent Jesus for them. He asked us to spread the Word, and that is what we are doing. We want to see His love change lives all over Mexico. We look forward to seeing many of you this month!

Love looks like something. Sometimes, love looks like an arm around a shoulder with a word of encouragement. Sometimes, love looks like prayer for the sick and hurting. Sometimes, love looks like food. And sometimes, love looks like a church service under a mesquite tree in a trash dump.
Every week, we take love in whatever form is needed to a group of people who make their living picking through the stuff people throw away. Many believers in the USA wear wrist bands with the letters WWJD : What would Jesus do? Pastor Kelly has said that a better question is, '' Where would Jesus go? ''. We believe He would go to the dump. So we do. We read in
Matthew 25: 35-40 what Jesus said do.
And guess what? God shows up, changes hearts, breaks addictions, gives purpose to these lives who live and work at a place most consider the least desirable place to stay. We are able to go because of your prayers and support. Thank you! We love ya'll.
