🔎 What does it take to read without seeing the page?

Kids got a hands-on introduction to Braille during Send Sunday at the Summit, learning more about St. Paul’s Braille Center and the work it does to help make God’s Word accessible to people who are blind or visually impaired.

Through activities like this, Send Sunday connects us with St. Paul’s mission partners and gives all ages a chance to learn, serve and discover new ways to share Christ’s love beyond our walls.

One “yes” can lead farther than we ever imagine. ❤️

In 2012, Joy Schwartz said yes to leading a Cooking Club at Daggett Elementary as part of a new program taking shape between St. Paul and the school. That program was Academy 4.

What began at Daggett has since grown to serve fourth graders in more than 60 schools—and St. Paul’s commitment to building relationships with students and families at Daggett continues today.

For Joy, it’s been a firsthand lesson in the power of relationships. “Academy 4 has taught me about the incredible power of relationships, for which we know God created us—to love Him by serving and loving one another.”

As we celebrate 15 years of St. Paul and Academy 4, read Joy’s story and discover how Authentic Community continues to take shape at Daggett.

Here we go number 14! We started celebrating yesterday at The Summit - Aledo. We will finish today at St. Paul Lutheran School. Thank you for continuing to follow my journey. It has been quite a story with many special and encouraging friends. God bless you all. Love, Phoebe
