Westside Unitarian Universalist Church We are people of all ages, people of many backgrounds, and people of many beliefs. Services are held every Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

Westside Unitarian Universalist Church is a young and thriving church in the near south sector of the city, dedicated to helping people grow their souls by providing a full program of activities that nourish the mind and spirit. We are creating a community of people united by a covenant of mutual respect and care, embodying spiritual freedom so that people may hear and heed the call of the divine,

however they may define that. We broadcast live here on Facebook, or you can watch a recording of the service on YouTube. To Get to the Other Side by the Reverend Anna Tulou presented by Debby Rake

Reverend Tulou tells the story of taking her handicapped child on an arduous hike up a rugged hill. Why do such a difficult thing just so they can come down again? She suggests that sometimes the obstacles we encounter are not just blocking the path. They are the path. What could this mean to us?

A graduate of Meadville Lombard Theological School, Reverend Anna Tulou (she/they) has been serving at First Unitarian Universalist Church of Richmond since 2024. Their areas of passionate interest include worship, small group ministries, and faith formation in all areas of life and work. She is also deeply curious about how systems are created, what values are expressed or reflected by and through them, and how their capacity for transformation, justice, and resilience can be deepened.
