Jesus didn’t call us to simply believe differently. He called us to live differently.

In the Beatitudes, Jesus reveals a revolutionary picture of what Kingdom character looks like: humility instead of pride, a hunger for righteousness, mercy instead of judgment, purity instead of divided devotion, and peace that doesn’t just avoid conflict but works to make peace.

And when doing what’s right comes with opposition, Jesus says we don’t have to respond with fear or frustration. We can respond with patience, faith, and even joy.

The values of God’s Kingdom will always look different from the values of the world. The question is: Does my life reflect the Kingdom I belong to?

Were you not able to be at church on Sunday? Or maybe you were there, but there was something in the message you wanted to sit with a little longer. 7 City ReWatch is for you! Our prayer is that God would use this message to encourage you, challenge you, and help you take your next step with Him.

And if you’re walking through something right now, let us know how we can pray for you. You don’t have to walk through it alone. We’d be honored to pray with you and believe with you for what God is doing in your life.

If you missed us this Sunday, we hope you’ll join us in person this weekend. There’s something special about gathering together, worshiping together, and being part of community.

Our words have power. They can build someone up, tear someone down, bring healing, or create hurt.

Sometimes loving someone means being honest enough to say, “That’s not helpful.” It’s only three words, but they can communicate something important: You’ve crossed a boundary, and this isn’t how we’re going to treat one another.

Paul gives us a better way to use our words in Ephesians 4:29: “Say only what helps. Each word a gift.”

Before you speak today, ask yourself: Are my words helping? Are they bringing life? Are they honoring the person in front of me? Let’s be people whose words reflect the grace, truth, and love of Jesus. ❤️

Sometimes the most dangerous things in our hearts are the things we can’t see.

Hebrews 12:15 tells us to “see to it” that no root of bitterness springs up and causes trouble. Roots grow underground. They’re hidden beneath the surface but given enough time, they eventually produce something everyone can see.

Bitterness can start small: an offense we never addressed, a hurt we keep replaying, or resentment we quietly hold onto. But what we leave unattended in our hearts doesn’t stay there forever.

So today, take a moment to look beneath the surface. Ask God to reveal anything that needs to be surrendered, healed, or forgiven.

Don’t ignore the root. Let God deal with it before it becomes the fruit. 🌱

“Encourage one another and build each other up…” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11

The word encourage means “to put courage in.” Every time we encourage someone, we have an opportunity to put courage back into their heart. 🙌

Sometimes that looks like a text. Sometimes it’s a phone call, a coffee, a prayer, or simply reminding someone, “I’m with you. I’m praying for you. You’re not alone.”

One of the greatest places we can both find encouragement and become an encouragement to others is through community. 🤝

Our 7 City Community Groups are kicking off next week! If you’re looking for people who will walk with you through the good days and the hard days, pray with you, and help you grow in your faith, this is your opportunity to get connected.

Don’t just look for encouragement**, be the encouragement someone else needs this week.** Who can you put courage into today?

Paul reminds us in Philippians 2 that following Jesus means choosing a different way: the way of humility. Instead of always asking, “What about me?” we learn to notice the people around us, care about their needs, and put others before ourselves. Humility isn’t thinking less of yourself. It’s learning to think of yourself less.

What would change in our families, friendships, workplaces, and church communities if we chose humility over self-promotion and self-interest?

▶️ Watch the full message and take some time to reflect on where God may be inviting you to put others first.

Healthy relationships don’t happen by accident; they require selflessness. ❤️

In Philippians 2, Paul reminds us that if we want to experience genuine unity and relational harmony, we have to move beyond selfishness. We can’t wholeheartedly agree, love one another, and pursue the same purpose when everything is about me.

Following Jesus means learning to put others before ourselves, serve instead of impress, and pursue unity instead of winning.

What would change in your relationships if you chose selflessness first?
