Antioch Youth Ministry - Fort Worth

Antioch Youth Ministry - Fort Worth Youth Ministry of Antioch Fort Worth At Christ Fellowship, we believe the next generation is our future. (1 Tim. 4:12)

They are our future church, business, political, and family leaders. We want to see our youth inspired to live for Jesus in the midst of differing cultural norms and expectations. We will give our lives to disciple our youth to walk in the ways of Christ through mentorship, modeling the Christian life, and vulnerability. We believe our investment will empower them to be servant-hearted leaders who

will usher in the kingdom of God in whatever way God has uniquely designed them. Jesus- we are a youth ministry focused on making much of Jesus and worshiping him with all our hearts. We want to realize more of him in our hearts and in our lives. (Acts 4:12)

Worship- We want to raise up a generation of passionate worshipers of Jesus. We don’t want to water down the gospel, and believe Jesus is worth our best! Students lead our worship sets on Wednesday night and at LifeGroup each week. (Luke 4:8)

Holy Spirit- We want our students to value and desire the indwelling and filling of the Holy Spirit. We want our students to gain the ability to abide in and be led by the Holy Spirit. We also desire for them to have an awareness of the gifts of the Spirit and maturity to express the gifts of the Spirit in love. (Rom. 8:11)

Identity- We want students to graduate from our youth ministry knowing who God is and who they are. We want them to be confident with who they are in Christ and have a vision to live for Him each and every day. (Ephesians 2:10)

LifeGroups- We believe in the power of small group community to foster relationships, accountability and security. Our hope is that each student would engage in a student LifeGroup community. (Acts 2:42-47)

Discipleship- We believe in the power of discipleship and desire for every student in our youth ministry to have the opportunity to be discipled by a leader or older student. We intentionally incorporate discipleship time into our LifeGroups each and every week. (Matthew 28:18-20)

Mission- We want to teach our students to live on mission through the way they live their lives, the way they articulate the gospel, by encouraging them to invite others to follow Jesus, creating youth events they want to invite their friends to attend, taking yearly mission trips, and serving our community practically through service projects. (Acts 1:8)

Partnering with Parents- We see ourselves as a resource, encouragement, and support for parents seeking to raise up children who walk with and know Jesus. We see ourselves as secondary to the role of the parent in the discipleship process of their children. We want to come alongside parents not replace them as the primary disciplers of their children. We encourage parental participation and involvement in our youth ministry through giving, serving, and leading. (Psalm 145:4)

Fun- We are a youth ministry marked by the joy of the Lord. We want to make following Jesus really compelling, exciting and the adventure of a lifetime! We believe Jesus is the happiest person in the universe, and believe we should reflect his joy to those around us. (Nehemiah 8:10)

Student Leadership- We believe in the power of developing leaders. We provide students the opportunity to serve on Wednesday nights or lead our LifeGroups and disciple other students. We want students to graduate with a confidence in their ability to lead and disciple others.
