Fort Worth Pastor Kyev Tatum Creates the "CommuniVersity Center" at the New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church To Address the Low Life Expectancy in 76104 with Comprehensive Research.

FORT WORTH, TEXAS - Community Quarterback Pastor Kyev Tatum of the New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church has recruited the Prairie View A&M University College of Juvenile Justice and Psychology and the Texas Juvenile Crime Prevention Center, Texas A&M University School of Law Community Development Clinic, Texas Christian University Community Scholars, University of Texas at Arlington College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs, Hunger Free America, Clergy for Safe Cities, AmeriCorps Vista, and the University of North Texas Center for Racial and Ethnic Equity in Health in Denton to become members of the first "CommuniVersity Center" to help improve the quality of life within the inner-city neighborhoods of Fort Worth and increase life expectancy in 76104, the zip code with the lowest life expectancy in Texas. "Our black communities are dying and no one seems to care. Hopefully our city leadership will embrace our efforts and join us in our commitment to establish the CommuniVersity Center at New Mount Rose to nurture healthy relationships between churches, colleges and citizens living within inner-city Fort Worth. In Commemoration of the 52th Anniversary of the Assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Love Has No Color Food Distribution Day is a joint venture between FCLU, LULAC Council 4743, and the Tarrant Area Food Bank in Fort Worth, Texas.

UNITY ACROSS THE TRINITY: Part of a NBC Universal grant award will be used to address the unhealthy life expectancy in innercity Fort Worth zip codes. UT Southwestern researchers have determined that the 76104 zip code has the lowest life expectancy in Texas at 66.7 years, with hispanics living three years longer than whites and whites living three years longer than blacks.
