Joy is the presence of Jesus.

What a powerful reminder from our guest and longtime friend, Jossy Chacko. In every circumstance, in every season, even in suffering, Jesus is worthy of our trust — and he is glorified through lives that continue to follow him.

So we follow Jesus. No turning back.

We’re grateful for the countless families who call Christ Chapel home! One way we come alongside busy families is through Kids Care, providing a safe and welcoming place for their children while they take part in the life and ministry of the church.

If you’ve been looking for a way to serve at Christ Chapel and would enjoy spending time with kids, Kids Care could be a great fit. It’s a part-time opportunity to serve our church family, support our parents, and help create space for them to grow in their relationship with the Lord and one another.

"Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you. Only let us hold true to what we have attained. Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us." - Philippians 3:12-17

It’s all about Jesus.

That's something followers of Christ say often, but what do we really mean by that?

We mean getting out of the way. Laying down our desires, thoughts, perspectives, and ways to discover that when God is working in and through us, he gives us a new way to live — not only a life that is more fulfilling, but one that draws the world into more of the gospel.

Less of us. More of Jesus.

This Sunday, we’re doing what God’s people do when they gather: we worship. And we’ll do that through song, in community, and in God’s Word. So bring a Bible, bring a friend, and we’ll see you at one of our campuses!

9 A.M. + 11 A.M. + 5 P.M.

What we believe about God shapes the way we live, the way we see the world and the way we understand his purposes for our lives.

That’s why knowing God matters and the best way to know him is to spend time in his Word. At Christ Chapel, we believe that goes beyond Sundays. There’s something special about gathering around tables each week, opening Scripture together, and encouraging one another as we grow in our relationship with God.

This fall, Women in the Word and Band of Brothers are opportunities to take a next step into Scripture and community. Wherever you are in your walk with Jesus, there’s a place for you!

Our goal in life is to know God and enjoy him forever!

And the beautiful thing is, there is always more of him to know. We can grow in our relationship with him, become more aware of his presence, and discover more of his goodness.

God is the One our lives are ultimately about. He is the One we’re moving toward, and knowing him is the greatest thing we could ever know.

To know him more. To enjoy him more. God is the goal.

We have access to the throne room of God.

That might sound a little out there, but it’s true. Hebrews 4:15–16 reminds us that Jesus is our High Priest, and because of him, we can draw near to the throne of grace with confidence. It’s there that we find mercy and grace to help us in our time of need.

There will be countless distractions throughout your day, but don’t let them keep you from turning your eyes toward the throne of grace. Take a moment to be still and spend time with the One who holds all things together.

Summer was a BLAST over here in Student Ministry! ☀️

Through camps, events, and community, we watched students lean in — to learn God’s Word, serve others, and grow together in a place where God is glorified and their purpose is clear: pursue Jesus, and have some fun doing it!

As they head into a new school year, continue to pray that the Holy Spirit would strengthen their faith, help them remain steadfast, and open doors for them to know Jesus more and share him with others.

We can’t wait to see how God continues to work in and through them!
