Dear Fort Worth First Family & Friends,

As our nation commemorates the historic Semiquincentennial—the 250th anniversary of the United States (1776–2026)—We extend our heartfelt prayers and warmest wishes to each of you for a safe, joyful, and blessed Independence Day, along with a Christ-centered and refreshing Sabbath.

This milestone invites us to reflect with gratitude on our nation’s history, to honor the sacrifices of those who have gone before us, and to look forward with hope as we seek God’s guidance for the generations yet to come. While we thank God for the precious blessings of liberty and the freedoms we enjoy, we are reminded that our greatest freedom is found in Jesus Christ, who has set us free from the bo***ge of sin and calls us to live lives of love, humility, and faithful service.

As God’s people, may we continue to be instruments of His grace, extending compassion to our neighbors, praying earnestly for our nation and its leaders, and reflecting the character of Christ in our homes, our church, and our community.

“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” — Galatians 5:13 (NIV)

As you gather with family and friends this holiday weekend, may the Lord watch over you, keep you safe in your travels, fill your hearts with His peace, and draw you ever closer to Him. May your Sabbath be a time of joyful worship, spiritual renewal, and grateful reflection on God’s abundant goodness.

May God continue to bless you, your family, our church, and the United States of America.

With love and prayers,

Fort Worth First Seventh-day Adventist Church
