Today’s Sunday Morning Worship Service continues our journey through the Gospel of Matthew with Pastor Louis’ message, “True Healing,” from Matthew 9:1–13. In this powerful passage, Jesus demonstrates His authority to forgive sins and reveals that true healing goes deeper than our physical needs. Through the healing of the paralyzed man and the calling of Matthew, we see Jesus’ compassion, authority, and invitation to follow Him.

As we worship through music, prayer, and the teaching of God’s Word, we’ll explore what it means to experience the true healing that only Jesus can provide. As our series, “Jesus, The Light That Shatters the Darkness,” continues through Matthew, we pray today’s message strengthens your faith, reminds you of Christ’s power to forgive and restore, and draws you into a deeper relationship with Him.

Today’s Sunday Morning Worship Service continues our journey through the Gospel of Matthew with Pastor Louis’ message, “Peace in the Storm,” from Matthew 8:23–27. In this powerful passage, Jesus and His disciples encounter a great storm, and we see Jesus demonstrate His authority over the wind and the waves. Today’s message reminds us that even in the midst of life’s storms, we can find peace by trusting in the presence and power of Jesus Christ.

As we worship together through music, prayer, and the teaching of God’s Word, we will also have a special Back-to-School Prayer for students, teachers, administrators, and families as a new school year begins. This special time of prayer will be led by our Children’s Ministry Director, Ashley Castro. We pray today’s worship service, Bible message, and time of prayer encourage you to trust God through every storm and begin the new season grounded in faith.

Today's worship service includes a time of worship through music, prayer, and biblical teaching as Pastor Louis continues our series through the Gospel of Matthew. This week's message, "Count the Cost of Discipleship," is from Matthew 8:18–22, where Jesus challenges those who would follow Him to carefully consider the commitment and surrender that true discipleship requires.

As we study this passage together, we'll discover what it means to put Christ above every earthly priority and faithfully follow Him, no matter the cost. We pray today's service encourages your faith, deepens your understanding of God's Word, and draws you into a closer walk with Jesus Christ.
