Primitive Baptist Churches seek to follow the pattern of the first century Church of the New Testament. We believe the original, or primitive, Baptist church was instituted by Christ and His apostles. Christ established His church during His earthly ministry. In so doing, He established Himself as the only head and promised its perpetuity, or continuance until His return.

Brentwood Hills Primitive Baptist Church Canceling Services on Sunday.

It’s always a difficult thing to do, to cancel worship services. No one wants to be the one to suggest we not gather, but sometimes it’s simply expedient and necessary to do just that. The forecast has been consistent regarding Saturday night into Sunday. The latest forecast remains the same – really ugly. We don’t want anyone endangering themselves trying to drive to church on Sunday morning when there could be frozen, icy bridges or roads.

The Brentwood Hills Primitive Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas will host their Annual Meeting the fourth weekend in October (October 24-26).

Please come if you can.

There will be supper served on Friday evening around 5:30pm, with services on Friday night, continuing with two services on Saturday and the meeting will conclude on Sunday morning. We plan to start song service no later than 10:00am on Saturday morning.

The Church has invited Elder David Montgomery, pastor of the LaVernia Primitive Baptist Church in LaVernia, Texas to be with them during their meeting.

We look forward to having Elder Montgomery with us, along with other ministers who the Lord sends our way. We look forward to hearing other ministers preach as well.

Elder Ward Rowell is pastor of the Brentwood Hills Church.

We, at Brentwood Hills, are earnestly praying that the Lord will bless us and the Churches in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in this endeavor and bless us with precious fellowship as we glorify His name. Please plan on attending and come praying, that the Lord will bless the services with His wondrous grace.
