*CALL TO WORSHIP Michele Wersal
Leader: God of love, we are a community that remembers your
grace among us.
All: With gratitude we thank you, that you have carried us
and guided us.
Leader: We are part of the whole community of Creation. With all
living things we praise you, that you make us one.
All: We are a community that learns together. With humility
we listen for your Word. May we learn from one
another, and grow deeper in our love.
*OPENING HYMN
They’ll Know We Are Christians by Our Love TFWS 2223 vs. 1,3,4
1. We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord, we are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord, and we pray that all unity may one day be restored:
REFRAIN: And they’ll know we are Christians by our love,
by our love; yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love.
3. We will work with each other, we will work side by side, we will work with each other, we will work side by side, and we’ll guard human dignity and save human pride: [REFRAIN]
4. All praise to the Father, from whom all things come, and all praise to Christ Jesus, God’s only Son, and all praise to the Spirit, who makes us one: [REFRAIN]
*AFFIRMATION OF FAITH Michele Wersal
We are not alone, we live in God’s world.
We believe in God: who has created and is creating, who has come in Jesus, the Word made flesh, to reconcile and make new, who works in us and others by the Spirit.
We trust in God.
We are called to be the Church: to celebrate God’s presence, to live with respect in Creation, to love and serve others, to seek justice and resist evil, to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen, our judge and our hope.
In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us. We are not alone. Thanks be to God.

Where 2 or 3 Are Gathered - There Could Be an Argument
HOLY COMMUNION Rev. Ginger Watson
God is with you.
And also with you.
Lift up your hearts.
We lift them up to God.
Let us give thanks to the Holy One, our God.
It is good and beautiful to give God our praise.
God, we give you thanks, for you create this world
as one living being, a community of life and beauty.
You set us free from what imprisons us. You make us a community, siblings in your care, neighbors in your realm of mercy. You give us freedom, and invite us to this table as one,
a community of love, all redeemed by your grace.
Therefore with one voice with all Creation we sing your praise.
Holy, holy, holy One, God of power and might,
heaven and earth are full of your glory.
Hosanna in the highest.
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of God.
Hosanna in the highest.
Therefore, in remembrance of these, your mighty acts in Jesus Christ. we offer ourselves in praise and thanksgiving as a living and holy sacrifice in union with Christ’s offering for us, as we proclaim the mystery of our faith:
Christ has died. Christ is risen. Christ will come again.
MUSIC DURING COMMUNION
PRAYER AFTER RECEIVING
Eternal God, we give you thanks for this holy mystery in which you have given yourself to us. Grant that we may go into the world in the strength of your Spirit, to give ourselves for others, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
INVITATION TO CHRISTIAN DISCIPLESHIP
*CLOSING HYMN
O Master, Let Me Walk with Thee UMH 430 vs. 1,2,3
1. O Master, let me walk with thee in lowly paths of service free;
tell me thy secret; help me bear the strain of toil, the fret of care.
2. Help me the slow of heart to move by some clear, winning word of love; teach me the wayward feet to stay, and guide them in the homeward way.
3. Teach me thy patience; still with thee in closer, dearer company,
in work that keeps faith sweet and strong, in trust that triumphs over wrong;
*BENEDICTION Rev. Ginger Watson
*CONGREGATIONAL RESPONSE
Sweet holy spirit, sweet heavenly Dove, stay right here with us, filling us with your love; and for these blessings we lift our hearts in praise; without a doubt we’ll know that we have been revived when we shall leave this place.
