Bread Fellowship

Bread Fellowship Our mission: “Eat. Feed." We gather to be nourished by Scripture and fellowship, and then scatter to nourish others. (Worship at 11:00).

We meet at Arts 5th Avenue in Fort Worth’s Fairmount Historic District Sundays at 10:30 a.m. At Bread our worship begins each Sunday as we read together these words:

We gather together in the name of Jesus Christ. We are members of God’s family, brothers and sisters to one another. There are no outsiders among us. No one here has any special standing or bragging rights. We have all been brought t

ogether by the redeeming love of Jesus. Let us all join together in worship! We believe that the church is changing and in the 21st Century women and men, young and old are looking for that which will bring meaning to their lives. We are asking questions—how can I make a difference in the world beginning in my neighborhood and
city; how can I use my money for good; does church have a word for me about how I live my life; how do I become a person of compassion; how do I love my neighbor; how do I love myself; does God love me. We believe Christ is our center and all are welcome within the circle of his love and grace. There is no membership requirement. There is no giving requirement. There are only two rules: 1) Everyone is welcome. 2) We will never own property - we believe it detracts from our call to be salt and light in the world. We meet at Arts 5th Ave every Sunday at 10:30am.

We had “Blessings of the Backpacks” today in worship— and took up an offering for our public schoolteacher to use for her kids. She wrote this note to us:

“What a beautiful time today. I feel ready to tackle this year. You all were so amazingly generous - thank you ❤️ I am blessed to be a part of Bread.”
