Scripture for Reflection

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” — Hebrews 4:16

COME BOLDLY

Many believers approach God with hesitation, uncertainty, or feelings of unworthiness. Yet Scripture gives a different invitation. Because of Jesus Christ, we are welcomed into God’s presence with confidence.

This boldness is not based upon our performance. It is based upon Christ’s finished work on our behalf.

The throne we approach is called a throne of grace. There we find mercy for past failures, grace for present needs, and strength for future challenges. God does not grow weary of His children coming to Him. He delights in their dependence upon Him.

Whatever your need today, come confidently before the Father. His invitation remains open.

A Prayer of Fellowship

Father, thank You for opening the way into Your presence through Jesus Christ. Help me come boldly before Your throne, trusting Your mercy, grace, and love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Father's Day service and helped make it such a special occasion. We are grateful for every father, grandfather, mentor, and father figure who continues to be a blessing to our families and community.

A special thank you to our guest speaker, Prophetess Sandra Warren, for sharing a powerful and inspiring message that encouraged and uplifted us all. Your ministry was truly a blessing!

“Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” — Psalm 37:4

DELIGHTING IN THE LORD

Delighting in God means finding joy in His presence, His character, and His fellowship. It is learning to enjoy God for who He is and not simply for what He provides.

As believers grow in fellowship with Him, something beautiful happens. Their desires begin to align more closely with His desires. Their priorities become shaped by His heart. Their perspective becomes influenced by His wisdom.

The promise of this verse is not merely about receiving what we want. It is about experiencing the joy that comes from a heart increasingly aligned with God Himself.

The closer we walk with Him, the more we discover that He is the greatest treasure we could ever possess.

Reflection

What practical step can you take today to delight yourself more fully in God’s presence?

A Prayer of Fellowship

Father, teach me to delight in You above all else. May my joy be found in Your presence and my heart be shaped by Your will. Draw me closer to You each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
