Each week, these amazing officers have been rolling up their sleeves to help us unload our food truck, making it possible for us to serve our neighbors more efficiently and with greater care.

We’re celebrating an incredible show of partnership and consistency from BNSF Railway Customer Support and Sr. Mgr. Sheilagh Gibbons! For three consecutive months, their team is stepping up in a powerful way—preparing 100 sack lunches and hygiene kits each month to support our Summer Cooling Station. That’s hundreds of meals and care kits bringing real relief to neighbors facing extreme heat. This is what sustained community impact looks like, steady, generous, and deeply meaningful. We are truly grateful for this commitment and partnership in serving our community with dignity and care.

We're grateful for our ongoing partnership with the STOP Program at TCU – Texas Christian University! Every Monday, TCU representatives visit Community Crossroads to connect with neighbors, providing education, resources, and outreach services in a welcoming and compassionate environment.

Together, we're helping bridge important health awareness and support services directly into the community while building trust, meaningful relationships, and stronger connections. A huge thank you to the City of Fort Worth for sending these three amazing volunteers to serve with us at Community Crossroads! Two of these young women traveled all the way from New Zealand and chose to spend part of their trip volunteering in our community.

They were friendly, engaged, and genuinely interested in learning about our ministries and neighbors. We are honored they chose to spend their day with us and grateful for the helping hands and kind hearts they brought to Community Crossroads. Thank you for making a difference!

In addition to providing fresh produce and herbs from our on-site garden, volunteers share herb bundles and recipe cards each summer to help neighbors enjoy and use fresh herbs at home. This year, the ministry took it one step further by giving away more than 30 herb plants for neighbors to grow themselves.

The response was overwhelming! These little plants quickly found new homes, extending the harvest beyond our garden and into the community. Thank you to our dedicated garden volunteers for helping cultivate nourishment, knowledge, and connection... One plant at a time.

Sometimes the best invitations are the simplest ones. Travis asked Senator Taylor Rehmet to come and serve, and the answer was yes.

What unfolded was the kind of day that reminds us why this work matters. Neighbors helping neighbors. Conversations that lingered. Hands doing the quiet, ordinary work that makes a place feel like home.

We're grateful to Senator Rehmet for showing up and standing in it with us, to every volunteer who gave their time, and to the community that keeps choosing each other day after day. This is what Community Crossroads is about. Not a moment, but a way of being together.
