Well, we are down to the wire! This Saturday, May 13, is our long-awaited Gyro & Greek Pastries Sale. If you missed our November festival and are dying for some Gyro and Greek pastries, now is the time to come to our event. We will open at 12:00 and run through 4:00 p.m.

While you are enjoying your gyro and pastries, stroll around and shop with some of the vendors who will be selling their beautiful products! We have 20 vendors coming, so pick up some last minute Mother's Day gifts!

Coffee will also be for sale. If you are enjoying your cup of coffee and would like to make it at home, we will be selling bags of our Byzantine Coffee. Our coffee's subtle, sweet flavors shine through because our roasters use electricity as a heat source, so the roasted coffee flavors are not affected by the burnt and over-roasted flavors associated with traditional gas-fired roasters. We will have 3 different bags for sale:
Light - Athens
Medium - Myra
Dark - Damascus

Bags are $18.00 each.

Also, if you love our Greek recipes, we will have our cookbook for sale as well! This cookbook, "From our Village to Yours," is full of recipes from our parishioners, families and friends! You will find wonderful Greek and Medditeranean recipes that you can make at home in various ways using various ingredients. You can also learn about our traditions by checking out the tradition part of our book. Cost is $20.00.

To top it all off, we will also be raffling off a basket full of goodies from all of our vendors! Raffle tickets are $2.00 per ticket or $5.00 for 3 tickets. You don't need to be present to win!

We have been hard at work preparing pastries and food and setting up to provide you all with a great eating and shopping experience! The profits from the food, raffle and vendor spots will benefit the Philoptochos Society, which is the ladies fundraising organization and the philanthropic arm of the Greek Orthodox Church. We are currently the 2nd largest women's fundraising organization in America today. We donate money to various charities as well as help people in need through fundraising efforts like today's sale. All sales profits made by the vendors will go directly to them.

We are almost there! Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. we will be having our Gyro and Greek Pastries Sale! Our Gyro and Greek Pastries sale is coming closer! If you missed our festival in November, you can make up for it by coming and enjoying Gyro and a variety of Greek pastries! All homemade! As you all know, along with our delicious Gyro's, we will also be selling yummy Greek pastries as well at our sale. Along with koulourakia, baklava, galaktoboureko and ek mek, we've added on a new pastry: Baklava Sundaes! Enjoy a blend of baklava crumbles with vanilla ice cream topped with honey, and you will be in Heaven! Check out a picture below. Bring the kids along, they will love them!

Any scrapbookers out there? I started scrapbooking 19 years ago and have not stopped since! I love making memories and scrapbooking them!
