“There is one body and one Spirit  —  just as you were called to one hope at your calling  —  one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.” - Ephesians 4:4-6

Today is day 4 of 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting!

Today, we’re praying for continued unity within the body of Christ here at Meadowridge Church.

May we be a church that chooses love over offense, humility over pride, reconciliation over resentment, and Christ over our differences.

Jesus, make us one. Let our unity be a testimony to the world of the transforming power of the Gospel.

Don’t forget we have our Wednesday night activities tonight at 6:30pm!

What does your prayer life look like?

On Sunday, Pastor Irvin Moses Wasswa walked us through 1 Kings 18:20–45 and the incredible moment when Elijah stood on the mountain and prayed with confidence, trusting fully in the power and character of God.

As we step into our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting, this is such a timely reminder that we are called to pray confidently.
Elijah didn’t seek God simply for what God could give him, he sought God for who He is. Our prayer life should be rooted in knowing God, trusting God, and believing that He hears us.

So, what does your prayer life look like?
Are you seeking God for who He is, or primarily for what you can get from Him?

As we journey through these 21 days, let’s choose to pray boldly, seek Him wholeheartedly, and trust Him completely. Let’s believe God for what only He can do!

“You may not be called to vocational ministry or professional ministry, but you are called to be ministers within our vocation.”

This past Sunday, Pastor Irvin Moses Wasswa continued our sermon series, Engaging a Wilderness Generation, with a message from 1 Kings 18:1–19 entitled “Servant of the Lord.” Through the lives of Elijah and Obadiah, we’re reminded that every follower of Jesus is called to serve the Lord.

Your calling may look different from someone else’s, but the call is the same to be a be a servant of the Lord. Wherever God has placed you, look for opportunities to serve, love, encourage, and point others to Jesus. Your everyday life can be ministry when it is lived for Him.

If you missed Sunday’s sermon or any other message in our Engaging a Wilderness Generation series, you can catch up on our YouTube channel!

What an awesome God we serve!

This past Sunday, Pastor Irvin Moses Wasswa continued our “Engaging a Wilderness Generation” series with a powerful message from 1 Kings 17:8–16 titled “What an Awesome God.” When we look at the story of Elijah and the widow, we’re reminded that our God is faithful, gracious, and always willing to meet us right where we are. Even in the wilderness, He is still making a way, providing what we need, and showing us just how awesome He truly is.

If you’ve missed part of the series, you can catch up by watching our sermons on our YouTube channel! And we’d love for you to join us this Sunday morning at 10:30 AM as we continue learning and growing together.
