All Peoples Church Unitarian Universalist

All Peoples Church Unitarian Universalist Love is the doctrine of this church, the quest of truth is our sacrament and service is our prayer. Ours is a Welcoming Congregation.

First Jefferson UU Church is a diverse Unitarian Universalist congregation. Historically, Unitarians believed that God is one and can not be divided into a trinity. Universalists believed that God's love would be universal; if there is a Heaven, we're all going. Our members' spiritual practices and identities can vary greatly, identifying themselves as humanist, Taoist, Christian, Jewish, pagan, a

theist, monotheist, and "none of the above." In general, we believe in remaining open to revelation and that life is a spiritual journey best experienced with others. Our Sunday worship is committed in the true meaning of the word: Offering up That Which is Worthy. Those who identify as LGBT will feel at home in our midst. We are founding members of Eastside Ministries of Fort Worth and adamant in promoting social justice near and far. We live by actions, not creed. The Seven Principles - We, the Member Congregations of the Unitarian Universalist Association, Covenant to Affirm and Promote:

The inherent worth and dignity of every person;
Justice, equity, and compassion in human relations;
Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;
A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;
The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;
Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.

FLOWER COMMUNION
We will have a Flower Communion on May 31. The flower communion began as a ritual emphasizing shared humanity and the beauty of individual differences in a time of political unrest and religious dogmatism. Please bring a flower or two to share in the ceremony, and be prepared to leave with a different flower than the one you brought. Don't worry if you don't have or forget your flowers, there will be plenty to share.

Join DSA Fort Worth on Saturday, May 30 for a screening of The Voice of Hind Rajab, a film honoring the life of Hind Rajab and documenting the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

At a time when mass death and suffering are being normalized, we believe gathering together to organize is an act of solidarity.

Following the screening, we’ll hold a community discussion on internationalism, political action, and what it means to continue showing up for Palestine and each other.

🕓 Saturday, May 30 | 4:00–7:00 PM
📍 All Peoples Church

🎟️ RSVP: fortworthdsa.solidarity.tech/the-voice-of-hind-rajab-film-screening-2

Optional donations will help cover film licensing costs ❤️🖤💚
