🐾✈️ Aloka the Peace Dog is on the move again!

This morning, Aloka received his very own boarding pass for Buddha Air flight U4 852 from Bhairahawa (Lumbinī) to Kathmandu. The ticket was even issued under the name “Mr. Aloka” with seat 18A. 😄

A special thank you to Buddha Air for welcoming a very distinguished four-legged passenger aboard. 🐕🙏

For those who have followed his journey over the years, Aloka has traveled alongside monks through many sacred places and has become a beloved companion to countless devotees. Wherever he goes, he brings smiles, kindness, and a gentle reminder that compassion extends to all beings.

From the sacred lands of Lumbinī to Kathmandu, another chapter begins in the adventures of our beloved Peace Dog.

Sáng nay, Aloka đã nhận được chiếc thẻ lên máy bay của riêng mình trên chuyến bay Buddha Air U4 852 từ Bhairahawa (Lumbinī) đến Kathmandu. Đặc biệt hơn nữa, vé được phát dưới tên “Mr. Aloka” với ghế ngồi 18A. 😄

Đối với những ai đã theo dõi hành trình của Aloka – Chú Chó Hòa Bình, hẳn đều biết chú đã đồng hành cùng chư Tăng qua nhiều vùng đất thiêng, vượt qua không ít khó khăn, và mang đến niềm vui cho biết bao người trên đường. 🇮🇳🙏Arrival at Kushinagar: One of the Four Sacred Buddhist Pilgrimage Sites

The Walk for Peace delegation, led by Ven. Paññākāra and accompanied by Aloka the Peace Dog, has arrived in Kushinagar—the sacred place where the Buddha attained Parinibbāna.

Kushinagar is one of the Four Sacred Buddhist Pilgrimage Sites identified by the Buddha himself. Visiting these sacred places helps cultivate faith, gratitude, and spiritual urgency, inspiring practitioners to deepen their commitment to the Noble Path.

Kushinagar là một trong Tứ Động Tâm được chính Đức Phật chỉ dạy cho hàng Phật tử đến chiêm bái. Việc hành hương đến các thánh tích này giúp tăng trưởng đức tin, lòng tri ân và tâm sách tấn trên con đường tu học.

📌 Book Update: First Batch Shipping Out — June 10, 2026

We are delighted to announce that we are officially preparing to ship the first batch of our book, The Footsteps of a Buddhist Monk. This initial release is dedicated to everyone who submitted a request during the Walk for Peace journey in the United States prior to February–March 2026.

Written by Venerable Bhikkhu Paññākāra, this book beautifully chronicles his profound journey alongside the venerable monks and Aloka through India and Nepal between 2022 and 2023. It was during this very pilgrimage that the seeds of peace were planted, eventually growing into the Walk for Peace across America.

Our team is currently managing approximately 2,000 pending requests. The first batch of 180 books will be shipped out today, and we are working diligently to process all remaining requests as quickly and smoothly as possible.

If your request is part of this initial batch, we have already sent an email with detailed instructions to your inbox. Please look for an email from [email protected] and kindly follow the steps provided in that email to receive your copy.

For everyone who is not included in this first list, we kindly ask that you wait for our next update, which we will share as soon as we finish fulfilling the current list.

At present, we are not accepting any new requests for the book. Please do not send requests by email, Messenger, comments, or other means, as we are unable to process them.

Our volunteer team is currently working through the thousands of requests received during the Walk for Peace. We kindly ask for your patience as we process these requests and prepare books for distribution.

Once the current round of requests has been processed, we will provide an update regarding future registration opportunities through our official channels.
