To God be the glory! 🙌🏾

When I stepped into the role of Social Media Director at Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, I set a goal of reaching 10,000 followers by the end of the year. Based on our growth and analytics from the last 30 days, it looks like we may arrive at that destination much sooner than expected! 📈✨

This milestone isn’t just about numbers—it’s about impact. It’s about spreading the Gospel, reaching souls beyond the four walls of the church, and expanding the Kingdom one post, one share, one comment, and one invitation at a time. ❤️

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve in this capacity, but this accomplishment belongs to all of us. Every church member who has liked, commented, shared, tagged a friend, reposted our content, or invited someone to worship with us has helped make this growth possible. You are the reason our reach continues to expand! 🙏🏾

👀👀👀 God isn’t asking you to figure it out. He’s asking you to trust that He already has. 🙌🏾✨

How many of us struggle with letting go and letting God? We try to carry the weight, solve every problem, and control every outcome. But anxiety, fear, and worry were never meant to be our burden to bear. 🤎🙏🏾

Today, be intentional about releasing what you cannot control and placing it in the hands of the One who can. God sees the situation, knows the outcome, and is already working behind the scenes. 💫

There are moments in worship that words simply cannot explain.

Sunday was one of those moments.

As our choir sang, “I Love You, Jesus. I Worship and Adore You. Just want to tell you…that I Love You More Than Anything,” something shifted in the room.
🙌🏾Hands were lifted toward Heaven. Eyes were closed. Tears flowed freely. Hearts were surrendered. The congregation wasn’t performing for anyone—they were pouring their love out to the One who has carried them through every storm.

“Because your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee… I will lift up my hands in thy name.” — Psalm 63:3-4

When God’s people call on His name, worship Him in spirit and in truth, and lay their burdens at His feet, Heaven takes notice.

🥹What a beautiful reminder that no matter what we’re facing, Jesus is still worthy of our praise.

🎲😂 Ever played UNO with someone who takes it WAY too seriously? Pastor P shared a hilarious story about his daughter and her competitive UNO skills, but behind the laughter was a powerful lesson on The Power of Reversal.

What the enemy meant for defeat, God can turn around for your good. What looks like a setback today could be setting you up for a comeback tomorrow! 🙌🏾⚓

Today’s Unity Service reminded us just how blessed we are to be surrounded by such an amazing church family. There’s something special about gathering with our shipmates, reconnecting, worshiping together, and being reminded that we’re never sailing alone. 🙌🏾⛪⚓

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this powerful day of worship, love, and unity. Our hearts are full, and we’re already looking forward to seeing everyone again next Sunday as we return to our regular service times:
