And we FINALLY made the move!

The Greater Friendship Social Media Team is excited to officially announce that THE SHIP HAS SAILED TO TIKTOK! 🚢📱🎉

God has already allowed us to experience incredible growth on social media, including surpassing 10,000 followers on Facebook, and we believe He’s just getting started! Now, we’re expanding our reach to TikTok with the same mission — to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, introduce people to Christ, build families by growing people, and show the world what God is doing at THE SHIP! 💙💛

🚢💙💛 THE SHIP IS ON THE MOVE!

At Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, we believe CHURCH happens far beyond the four walls of 2001 Bonnie Brae St. 🙌🏾

Every Friday, the Men of the Ship — affectionately known as the MEN OF NO EXCUSES 💪🏾 — head over to North Crowley High School to serve breakfast to the football team. 🏈🍳

But they’re serving MUCH more than food.

They’re feeding minds.
They’re pouring into spirits.
They’re speaking to souls. 🙏🏾

They share scripture. 📖
They pray. 🙏🏾
They share their own life experiences.
They encourage these young men, mentor them, and remind them that who they become OFF the field matters just as much as what they accomplish ON it. 💯

And this Sunday, that relationship came full circle! 🥹💙💛

🏈 Coach Ray Gates, Coach Harris, their families, and members of the North Crowley football team joined us at THE SHIP for worship! They even presented Pastor Parish Lowery with an honorary North Crowley jersey and Panthers helmet! 🏈🔥

And listen… the Panthers came to church after handling BUSINESS! 😮‍💨😂

We are incredibly proud of these young men, but we’re even more grateful for the opportunity to have men in our church consistently showing up in their lives.

If I don’t praise Him, the rocks will cry out—and we refuse to let a cold, lifeless rock praise our Lord and Savior louder, harder, or stronger than we can! 🪨🙌🏾

At GREATER FRIENDSHIP, we believe if God has been good to you, OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND GIVE HIM PRAISE! 👏🏾🔥 Cry out! Lift your hands! Shout! Dance! Run! Worship Him in YOUR way!

And here at The Ship, we give each other ROOM TO WORSHIP. 💙💛

We don’t judge your praise.
We don’t side-eye your worship.
We don’t tell you it takes all that.

Because we don’t know what God brought you through! 🙌🏾

Instead, we support one another. We encourage one another. And when somebody starts crying out, sometimes we just might start crying out WITH them! 😭🙌🏾🔥

Hey fellas! Tomorrow morning at 7:30 AM, we’ll be at North Crowley serving breakfast!!

Let’s show up, be present, and make a positive impact in the lives of these young men. Sometimes a word of encouragement, a listening ear, or simply seeing strong men show up for them can make a lasting difference.

Let’s pour into them, encourage them, and remind them that we’re in their corner.

REAL MEN SHOW UP. 💪🏾🙏🏾🏈

The Men of No Excuses at Greater Friendship showed up for the young men of North Crowley Football—not just to talk, but to pour into the next generation.

These brothers took time away from work to share wisdom, encouragement, life lessons, and prayer. Most importantly, they showed these young men what Godly men look like in action.

Because mentorship matters. Representation matters. Fathers matter. Godly men matter. 🙏🏾

This is what Men of No Excuses is about—showing up, pouring back, and helping build the next generation of men.
