It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that Samaria Baptist Church announces the sudden passing of our beloved brother born and raised at Samaria, faithful member, Bro. Jamarion “Jay” Williams, who transitioned from this earthly life on Sunday, August 30, 2026.

Bro. Jay was a loving, caring, and spirit-filled young man of God who faithfully served at Samaria
He loved the Lord with all his heart, and one of the things he loved most was singing praises to God. His voice, his smile, his kind spirit, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Though our hearts are broken by this unexpected loss, we find comfort in God's Word: “Absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:8

We ask that you keep Sis. Geiger family, his loved ones, friends, and the entire Samaria Baptist Church family lifted in your prayers during this difficult time.

Rest well, Jay.
Your labor of love was not in vain, and your memory will forever remain in our hearts.
