I could remember the the soul train awards and now we have the BET awards. All of them performed 70 80s 90s. But all you had at the BET awards. Not too much performing but a lot of twerking. Our music needs to go back to Barry White, the Isley Brothers, Luther vandross, Whitney Houston, The Gap band, lakeside, The whispers, Manhattan, Blue magic. Harold Melvin and the Blue notes. And so many others that truly performed. Think about it.
