Family there are number of words that can be used to describe and to depict what I believe the scriptures teach that God wants to do in and through our lives.
Before the purpose of today’s preaching presentation I want to lift up an adjective that I think is extremely important and yet often overlooked. Here it is.
- What God wants to do in, through, and for our lives is "Strange".
Check us out on Facebook. Be blessed.

Hello family. Our church is in need of your help. We have not worshipped in the building since October of this year (2023). We have no lights, no gas, no utilities at all. It appears that "those faithful members that the church once had have lost their faith. But some of us need to be informed and others of us need to be reminded, that our God is a miracle worker. By that I mean it is in God's nature, it is in his makeup, it is a part of his ontological existence to orchestrate anomalies. He can't help it. It's a part of who he is. He performs them on accident and on purpose. It doesn't even require intentionality for us to experience the unusual.
Sometimes you're dealing with a secret struggle. It's a private struggle, but it's a struggle that's not exposed to the average eyes. So, I can't expect external encouragement when I'm dealing with an internal struggle. So as opposed to being at the mercy of somebody else's encouragement, we have to take responsibility for what has happen and since people don't know enough about what I'm going through to encourage me, I've decided - come here Donald Lawrence - I will encourage myself. We want to begin to go back into the building, the church, Jubilee Temple building in January.

Hello. I am Pastor Marcus Lawson, the newly appointed proud pastor of the Jubilee Temple C.M.E. Church in Ft. Worth, TX. I pray that each of you are doing well. I want you to know that it is a blessing and a pleasure to be assigned to Jubilee Temple. I've heard so many great things about Jubilee Temple - "The Celebration Station”.
I would love to meet each of you in-person each Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. So, come by 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday for morning worship in-person. We will continue to do a conference call on the 2nd and 4th Sunday until everyone feels comfortable coming back to church full-time.
I have created a page for Jubilee Temple, so on every Sunday, we can have virtual worship until we are able to worship in person every Sunday.
To login to Jubilee Temple page, in the search engine line type:
- Jubilee Temple, Ft. Worth, Tx.
If you don’t have Facebook, I will also be on the conference call; Dial: (978) 990-5000, Pin: 201150, at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday as well.
Enjoy the rest of your day, and if the Lord is willing, we'll see you every Sunday.
