Our church Apostolic elder Dr. Michael Brown concluded our Reformation Conference in the Sunday service this morning. Dr. Brown addressed an eschatological pessimism that too often prevails in the church with the idea that since things are going from bad to worse, there’s nothing for us to do but wait until Jesus returns. Yes, Jesus is coming back but we are to occupy until He returns and to do everything that we possibly can do for the Kingdom to bring Reformation!

I absolutely love writing & journalism as its my calling. And I have been blessed to have several published works. Although most of my writing and research dives into political and especially the geopolitical realm, I also absolutely love eschatology (end times Bible prophecy). In essence my Biblical world view permeates all of my writing in both the political & spiritual. Eschatology is a perfect intersection for geopolitics as well. My academic supervisors were impressed with my dissertation project which is a critique of Darby's pre-trib dispensationalism as it focuses upon his sermon content - something that has been done in very few academic works. In between completing submission of a geopolitical manuscript to my publisher recently, I was also able to get my dissertation project published. Because of its theological content, I had not anticipated a real interest in the book. However, I was surprised that shortly after being published, the dean of a seminary in Southern California contacted me saying that he and other colleagues were reviewing my book with a great deal of interest in adding it to a reading list for their students. Wow! I am glad that I took action on my dissertation supervisor's recommendation to get it into print.
