The night before school begins, we pray for our educators. ❤️

Lord, give them rest tonight and strength for tomorrow. Calm the nerves, quiet the worries, and remind them that the work they do matters deeply. Give them patience for the hard moments, wisdom for every decision, and joy in the little victories. Help them see the student who feels unseen, encourage the one who is struggling, and celebrate the one who needs someone to believe in them.

Protect their classrooms. Bless their families. Fill them with grace when the days are long and energy when they feel like they have nothing left to give. Lord, bless our teachers and the students entrusted to their care this year. Amen!

We’re excited to welcome Michael Pittman as our new full-time Worship Pastor! While this is a new role, Michael is no stranger to Doxology, having previously served on staff at our Southwest congregation and led worship at Alliance many times over the years.

On Sunday, we celebrated Parent Dedication.. a special moment in the life of our church where families publicly commit to raising their children in a Christ-centered, faith-filled home.

As a church family, we had the privilege of surrounding these parents with prayer, encouragement, and support as they walk through every stage of the parenting journey. We’re grateful to stand beside them as they lead the next generation toward Jesus!

Sometimes we think we need more experience, more confidence, or more resources before we can be used in a meaningful way. But Jesus often sends people out before they feel ready and meets them with exactly what they need along the way.

"He called them, sent them, and gave them authority as they went" (Mark 6:7).

Maybe the next step is not waiting, it is trusting as you go.

Prayer is not about having the right words but about being with God, even when you feel unsure or overwhelmed. Even when our words fall short, God is already at work, and He meets you right where you are.
