I FORGAVE THEM “ALL”

“Many years ago, when God revealed to me that I was a pastor, I had to take some steps to make sure I reflected what a Person of God is supposed to be, how they should live, and how they should think. I realized this verse HAS to be taken seriously…

Matthew 6:14-15 - “For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. “But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions”. 📖

I remember going into prayer and forgiving ALL of the people from my past AND BEYOND for everything they did. From that moment forward I held NO ILL FEELINGS – HOSTILITY – RESENTLENT against anyone.

I FORGAVE the people who were racist against me as a child, I FORGAVE the K*K for what they did to some of my ancestors, I FORGAVE the person who stole my mother’s purse years ago, I FORGAVE the person who rough-handled my grandmother when she was in a nursing home (and that was hard because she was the one who introduced me to Jesus), they were all FORGIVEN! 🙌

And if you believe God’s Word you know He can use “ANYONE” to do his work. Moses, Paul, and David all did things that were wrong, and yet God used them.

GOD MUST DOMINATE COLOR

There are people in today’s world that are hoodwinking people (especially Black people), into hating people from the past for their SINS which is the exact OPPOSITE of what the Bible teaches. The Bible teaches FORGIVNESS! 🙌

Colossians 3:13 - Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 📖

As we approach this celebration of our country’s 250TH Anniversary, 🇺🇸🎇 remember that no matter what sins the people did who God placed to build our GREAT Christian Country, where you have the FREEDOM to try to be whatever you want, don’t allow these UNGODLY people to turn you against the people of the past.

They were GREAT people because they did God’s work…and YES…they did it whether they owned slaves or not! And if you do your research, many slaves were treated well, not all were being whipped and tortured all day as TV would like you to believe. But, it didn’t stop them from doing God’s work and they clearly wrote God’s name into all of their documents.

THIS IS A CHRISTIAN COUNTRY! 🙌

WE ARE OWED NOTHING

The Lord said that if a man fathers a son who sees the sins of his father and does not do likewise, he shall not bear the penalty for his father’s iniquity.

SLAVERY IN THE BIBLE

The slavery in the Bible was not based exclusively on race. People were not enslaved because of their nationality or the color of their skin. In Bible times, slavery was based on economics; it was a matter of social status. 😯

People sold themselves as slaves when they could not pay their debts or provide for their families. In New Testament times, sometimes doctors, lawyers, and even politicians were slaves to someone else. Some people actually chose to be slaves so as to have all their needs provided for by their masters. 😲

Lighten your hearts – Forgive everyone – Prepare to be in the Afterlife…so God can say as He did in Matthew 25:21 -

‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ 🙌📖
