It’s hard to believe that the attacks of September 11, 2001, were 25 years ago. Most of us have our own unique story of where we were when we heard the news and how that day affected us. We all share a piece of that moment in our nation’s history.

As the church, we have an opportunity to come together—to remember, to pray for our nation and for healing, and to honor the families and countless lives forever impacted by that day.

We were hoping the rain would push back a little, but it looks like we may have sporadic rain at the baptism and picnic today. The plan for now is to have the services and lunch as planned.

We have a food tent, but there is not a ton of extra space to eat under the tent. Maybe bring a pop up tent if you have it or you can also just bring an umbrella or your favorite ran jacket!

We will be performing the baptisms by immersion and sprinkling...
