CC KIDS - Fort Wayne

CC KIDS - Fort Wayne CCKIDS is the Preschool & Elementary Ministry of Christ's Church - Ft. Wayne. We meet on Sunday Mornings at 10am for worship, small groups, and a lesson.

Our Preschool & Elementary Kids meet from 10:00am-11:10am every Sunday morning during adult services. You can check your kid into our Preschool or Elementary Environments just inside our main entrance. In our Preschool Phase of CCKIDS we emphasize an understanding of THREE BASIC TRUTHS, which are:
1. "God made me."
2. "God loves me."
3. "Jesus wants to be my friend forever." Because Preschool Kids

are motivated by SAFETY we are committed to EMBRACING their interests to:
-know God's love.
-meet God's family. In our Elementary Phase of CCKIDS we emphasize an understanding of THREE BASIC TRUTHS, which are:
1. "I can trust God no matter what."
2. "I should treat others the way I want to be treated."
3. "I need to make the wise choice." Because elementary kids are motivated by FUN we are committed to ENGAGING their interests to:
-trust God's character.
-experience God's family. We accomplish this by providing Preschool and Elementary Kids with an environment where they experience:
1. Fun and Exciting Worship
2. Playful Large Group Experiences
3. Kid-friendly Lessons
4. Grade and Age-Specific Small Groups

We believe that Small Groups are the most important aspect of every phase within our NextGen Ministry. This is where Kids and Students are known by others while being challenged to know God. We believe that every child is created in the image of God, which is why our SGL's are some of the most caring adults within our church. Our Small Group Leaders (SGL's) are trained to be the most effective leaders that they can be in their specific phase. They are trained off of FIVE CORE PRINCIPLES, which are:
1. Be Present
2. Create A Safe Place
3. Partner With Parents
4. Make It Personal
5. Move Them Out

📣📣VBS Update📣📣
Due to construction timing, we have had to rethink how to do VBS this year. Here is the new plan.
VBS - Live It Out
Sundays July 6, 13, & 20 from 4:00-6:00pm

I need everyones help to make this a life changing event for the kiddos of Christ’s Church. If you are available to Make a Difference, please send me an email and we will find a spot for you. [email protected].

I am very excited about what God has instore. I know He will do big things in our chaos!

🎉VBS Start the Party News🎉
💦💦💦Your 5 yr old - 6th graders will be getting wet at VBS this week! It is our final day and we are going to have a big party. Please send them in clothes that can get wet and bring a set to change into if you want them coming home dry!💦💦💦

We need a few items for VBS this coming Wednesday!!!

2 sets of assorted sized rectangular gift boxes.
For example 2 coat boxed, 2 sweater boxes, 2 shirt boxes, ect. Like the ones you buy at the holidays in the big packages.

Play food that is party treats, for example a piece of cake, ice cream come, doughnuts, cookies, pastries, etc.

Medium sized Clean stuffed animals

***VBS SPECIAL REPORT - PLEASE READ***

Parents/Caregivers,

I am so excited about VBS starting on Wednesday. It is going to be so fun sharing this time with your kiddos, playing games, worshipping, and learning how we can be a party starter just like Christ was.

Please be sure to send a lunch with your child to VBS!!!
We will not be providing lunches for all the children.

Please make sure that the lunch you provide for your child is peanut and tree-nut free!
We have some friends who are severely allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. We want to be sure our VBS is a safe place for all to learn about Jesus. I need your help with this. Please read the labels on everything you send with your child and please do not send peanut butter sandwiches.

ELC Summer Enrollment begins Monday January 15th!

ELC Summer Edition is a summer care program for ages 2 years old -5th grade! This will be a play-based day camp inspired program where children can come learn all while having fun! We will have activities, lots of outdoor exploration and fun experiences/guest come in!
