Join Rabbi Meir and our lifelong learners on Wednesday, June 10 at 7 pm on Zoom for an evening of Jewish learning and conversation as we explore timeless texts and modern insights about hope, courage, and what it means to “choose life” in today’s world.

No prior background or preparation is necessary. Come ready to learn, reflect, and join the conversation. The Zoom link will be in the weekly email to our Temple family.

We stand with our Muslim neighbors. There is no room for hate.

The Indianapolis JCRC drafted the following statement in response to Lt. Gov. Beckwith's recent comments targeting the Muslim community. We are grateful to our Hoosier interfaith and community partners who have signed onto this letter in support.

Although Memorial Day is not a Jewish holiday, the idea of remembering and honoring those who died in service to our nation is certainly a Jewish value. With that idea in mind, we’ve rounded up these stories and prayers to share.

Memorial Day isn’t a Jewish holiday but remembering and honoring fallen military is certainly a Jewish value. Let us remember those who gave their lives in battle.

During our L’dor Vador Shavuot and Shabbat service on Friday evening, we celebrated the giving of the Torah on Mt. Sinai and honored teachers, volunteers, and students in our Religious School family for their contributions and milestones.

The special service was led by Rabbi Meir with music by Sam Krouse. Stephanie Gottesman, the Temple’s Youth Education and Family Engagement Director, reflected on the past year and two b’mitzvah students participated in the service.

We offered a blessing for a high school graduate and for children who will be attending Jewish summer camp. We presented a prayer book to a student in honor of her Bat Mitzvah studies. In keeping with the tradition of dairy food on Shavuot, we enjoyed an Oneg Shabbat featuring ice cream, hosted by Wendy & Micah Soltz.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to a meaningful evening and wonderful school year!
