Our congregation is seeking a skilled and collaborative Music & Choir Leader to lead our music ministry throughout the year. This position combines weekly instrumental accompaniment for Sunday services with directing and accompanying our choir during the program year. The ideal candidate is a versatile musician who can move fluidly between musical styles and enjoys building community through music. This position supports our congregation's commitment to living out our Unitarian Universalist values through worship and shared musical experience.

UU Congregation's ArtVenture is going to the Chihuly exhibit at Meijer Gardens and ArtPrize in Grand Rapids September 30th. Chihuly’s organically colorful shaped glass floats, curls and glows at Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids Michigan, across 158 acres. Chihuly’s vibrant glass unfolds among gardens, water and sky—revealing moments of beauty around every turn. Plus, view Chihuly: Radiant Form Indoor Exhibition.

After spending time with Chihuly the bus will head to ArtPrize in downtown Grand Rapids. ArtPrize is an international art competition and cultural festival held annually. Each year, thousands of artists from across the globe show their sculptures, installations, paintings, and more as you wander through streets, parks, galleries, and restaurants.
