Please understand the FACTS about what this person states. Lutheran Social Services across the US provides necessary resources that local public agencies simply cannot - in terms of counseling - family, couples, indiciduals, supportive care for the elderly, severely disabled, and those experiencing a mental health crisis. Without these services millions of people will suffer.
This is NOT a situation where some church leader is getting rich off government dollars!! This is a private agency caring for the community! And while LSS may do this in the name and at the mandate of our Lord Jesus Christ, NEVER is religious doctrine forced on the recipients!!

We're giving out our weekly drive-thru meal at Faith Lutheran Church starting at 6pm tonight, Wednesday, August 7th! Come grab a hot, homemade dinner for you and your whole family! We'd love to see you there!

This Sunday, August 4, 2024 will be Pastor Marty Hampton's last Sunday at Faith. We will gather for worship at 9 am, and conclude with a farewell brunch following the service. All are invited. If you are able to bring a dish to share, that is welcomed!

(Pastor Marty and her family will be staying in Fort Wayne. She has accepted a call to serve with the ELCA half-time as the Director for Candidacy and First Call, and will serve another congregation half-time.)
