📖 Frequently Asked Questions About Luther Academy & LOGIA
Learn how your support helps spread faithful Lutheran theology worldwide.

1️⃣ What is the purpose of Luther Academy?
Luther Academy promotes faithful, confessional Lutheran theology worldwide through theological publications and international pastoral conferences. These conferences equip indigenous pastors with sound doctrine and promote unity in faith and practice.

2️⃣ How do the conferences work?
In cooperation with LCMS World Missions and local churches, we organize in-person theological training led by volunteer Lutheran professors and pastors. These are made possible entirely through donor support.

3️⃣ How do these conferences serve the Church?
We reach pastors in remote, impoverished areas—often with no access to education or fellowship. Luther Academy brings the Word, faithful teaching, and much-needed encouragement to these servants.

4️⃣ What are the goals?
We aim to strengthen pastors in their confessional Lutheran identity, promote doctrinal unity, and support the Church globally. We’ve held conferences in over a dozen countries, including Madagascar, India, Ghana, the Philippines, and throughout Latin America.

5️⃣ Who teaches at these conferences?
Confessional Lutheran pastors and theologians, primarily from the LCMS and partner churches. All instructors are carefully selected for their faithfulness and cross-cultural ability.

6️⃣ How is Luther Academy funded?
Entirely through donor gifts. No government money. No charge to pastors. Your support covers travel, resources, and theological training.

7️⃣ How can I support this mission?
Through one-time or recurring donations, conference sponsorships, or legacy giving. All U.S. donations are tax-deductible.

8️⃣ How can a church request a conference?
Church leaders can contact us through our website. Requests are prayerfully reviewed in partnership with the LCMS Office of International Mission.

9️⃣ What topics are taught?
Subjects include pastoral ministry, justification, the Sacraments, Law & Gospel, liturgical theology, spiritual warfare, and more—always grounded in Scripture and the Lutheran Confessions.

🔟 Do you publish materials?
Yes. We produce and distribute books and theological resources, many free to pastors overseas. U.S. sales help fund this work.

1️⃣1️⃣ Where do you work?
Currently in Central/South America, Africa, Asia, and parts of Europe—with growing reach as support increases.

1️⃣2️⃣ How can I stay informed?
Sign up for email updates, follow us on social media, and visit our website for the latest news.
