Unity of Fort Wayne Spiritual Center Unity is a positive, practical, progressive approach to Christianity based on the teachings of Jesus and the power of prayer. Sunday Service begins at 10:30.

Unity honors the universal truths in all religions and respects each individual's right to choose a spiritual path. Children are invited and welcome as they have their own time together through classes during the 10:30 service.

This Sunday! Rev. Dr. Wanda Wright will be our Connection Hour speaker. We will have a ceremonial blessing of the students and teachers during the service. Following the service we will celebrate birthdays and anniversaries with coffee and cake, hosted by the Unity Men's group. We will also have a moment of gratitude and thanks as we bless and open the newly renovated kitchen.

We are honored to welcome Skyler Pimyotamah Hartleroad, a citizen of the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma. Skyler will be sharing music, stories, and perspectives that invite us all to listen, learn, and deepen our understanding of one another.

This promises to be a deeply moving service filled with community warmth and an opportunity to experience the beauty of the Miami culture, language, and the shared humanity that connects us all.

Skyler Pimyotamah recently gratuated with a degree in Anthropology, Spanish, and Linguistics. He completed the Hertitage Program through the Myaamia Center at Miami University. He grew up surrounded by music through powwow, and that gift, language and song together, has stayed with him ever since. He shares that gift to pass on Miami culture and history, and to open our eyes to who the Miami people are today.

The Power of Will: Keep choosing.

Spiritual growth doesn't happen in one grand moment. It accumulates through a series of wise choices that we make again and again.

Pray again.
Begin again.
Choose love again.

The decision to choose self-compassion and healthy discipline is also a choice to care for ourselves, and from that place of care, we are more capable of caring for others.
