Meet Meghan Wiseman,

Meghan serves families at Highland Park Cemetery, finding purpose in making a difference through genuine connections and compassionate listening.

She has lived in Fort Wayne for 11 years and studied at IPFW, bringing both community knowledge and personal experience to her work.

Guided by compassion, Meghan approaches each family with reassurance and a heartfelt commitment to support them.

She enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring creative projects like sewing and painting, and being with family, all of which help her bring empathy and care to her role.

Her hope is that every family she meets remembers her as someone who genuinely cares and strives to do the right thing.

If you’d like to connect or have questions, Meghan would be happy to offer guidance and support.

Our cemetery flag is lowered to half-staff to honor the innocent lives lost in the tragic school shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Two young students were taken far too soon, and many others were injured in an act of violence that deeply affected communities across the country.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families, educators, and all those who are grieving.

May this gesture of remembrance serve
as a quiet tribute to the lives lost and a call for unity, healing and peace. 🕊️

This weekend, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Visiting the cemetery today, we are reminded of the true cost of freedom. Each flag, each name, each stone tells a story of courage, sacrifice and love of country.

-The cemetery will have complementary flags for relatives to honor their loved one’s memory.

Let us never forget their legacy. May we live in a way that honors their memory, not just this weekend but every day.

When someone we love passes, it’s not the big things we miss most. It’s all the irreplaceable little things that made them special. It’s the details that matter most. https://bit.ly/3LgKprU

People choose cremation for many reasons. Some see it as easier from an emotional standpoint. Others perceive it as less costly. Cremation comes with a certain flexibility that many appreciate. And those with environmental concerns find it a friendlier alternative to casket burial. https://bit.ly/3qHhZ4t
