The Door-to-Door team hit the streets around St. Peter’s last Saturday. It was a beautiful day and we all felt the presence of the Holy Spirit. Special thanks to our Young Adult group, Nate Strack, Michael Gregson, and Laura Hartmus who joined us for the first time.
Together we prayed for our parish neighbors, then visited each home on Dewald and St. Martin’s streets. About half the people opened the door to talk with us. We invited them to Father’s First Friday Healing Service, and left behind a photo of the church’s high altar with our Mass, Confession, and Food Pantry times. We asked if there was anything they would like us to pray for and, if they were open to it, prayed with them on the spot. When we were done, we went back to the pavilion and prayed for the intentions we received.
Please join us in praying for our neighbors and their prayer intentions:
• For E.’s perfect healing for his hip and his health
• For E.’s family and his health
• For A.’s family - That we appreciate the blessings God gives us every day
• For T. who is going through some things
• For Fr. B.’s parish and family back home
• For D.’s health
• For the neighborhood
• For M.’s life
• For the world and society
• For connections between people in a world with AI (artificial intelligence)
• For S.’s mom H. and her dialysis
• For K. & R. and their needs
We’re planning the next Car-to-Car Ministry on Friday, June 12 (11:45 am -1:15 pm) and Door-to-Door on Saturday, June 27 (10:00 am – 12:00 pm). Meet at the Pavilion.
