As the nation of Israel was about to enter the holy land, Moses did an interesting thing. He did not let them proceed. In short, Moses basically says, "I know you are excited for the future in our new land, but before you go forward, remember the past."
Only a fool goes into tomorrow without understanding yesterday.
This seems appropriate for Grace Point at the end of the interim season.
Let's understand yesterday before we jump into tomorrow.

Ladies, September is right around the corner and our Fall Bible studies will be starting.

Our Wednesday Night study resumes on September 2 at 6:45pm and will be studying "The Gospel on the Ground" by Kristi McLelland.

Our Thursday morning study will begin on September 3 at 10am and will be studying "Isaiah".

Our Friday morning Bible Study will begin September 25th and run through November 13th. We are studying Kelly Minter's study called "No Other Gods - The Unrivaled Pursuit of Christ"

Sunday is a day of celebration. We will take in 15 new Nazarenes into the Grace Point family. On top of this, both services will feature baptism. I love these kinds of services. They are certainly not routine. Baptism is a Biblical truth. A truth that is more than a celebration. Once we understand the Biblical teaching of baptism, the event is so much more meaningful. This Sunday, I will breakdown what the Bible teaches about baptism. I think you will discover something new and exciting and never see baptism the same again.

This Sunday, we will conclude the series dealing with spiritual warfare.
Let’s end on a positive note.
First of all, God is a God of fury.
There are so many verses that illustrate this fact.
BUT—there is one time there is no fury in Him….just one time!
It is a verse promise we something don’t notice.
Buried in the Old testament.
Hint- It is in Isaiah.

God Himself tell us when there is no fury in Him. We should know when this occurs.
Sunday Pastor Gene will break down this passage.
It is encouraging, convicting, loving - all at the same time.
